Mine came from “Closeout Inventories” it was a Carquest part, not KYB. If I wanted Carquest, I would drive to carquest and buy one there.

Fixed the clickity-clack on my 2001 Avalon. Pay attention to which side its goes on. I found out the hard way, there is an R stamped on the bottom of the right, and an LH on the left. I would put a label sticker on the top of them as they came out of the box! Also spend a little time making sure the slot on the bushing engages the flats on the strut. Not sure I would do this again, as I see my boots and spring rubbers are getting bad, one of the loaded struts can be had for much less than the sum of these parts. These did indeed fix my low speed noise issue.

If your ~2000 Camry front strut goes clunk over bumps, as reported in many blogs and a Camry technical report, this is the part that fixes it. Ya don’t need a new strut. There are good fix-it-yourself blogs if you have spring compressor. It is a few hours to do both fronts for a weekend warrior. The two sides are different, don’t mix them up. Be sure to have a 22mm socket with a breaker bar, and a 150lb torque wrench.

This likely is a very good product, however, it was frustrating that it did not have orientation marks on it or at least instructions letting you know that the part number was the orientation mark.
