Lattafa Ansaam Gold Eau De Parfum, 3.4 Ounce

I am a perfume collector and buy easily 4 new fragrances a week. I had such high hopes for this as I Love the almost everything I’ve purchased from this fragrance house. After many reviews from various TikTok videos and Amazon reviews and looking at the notes, I was sure I would adore this scent. That unfortunately is not the case at all. The presentation is stunning if all you want is a pretty bottle. However, it gives me a very artificial almost plastic like sweet scent in the air and on a swatch. On my skin it was like the scent you get when opening a new toy from the packaging. I hoped after the dry down it would change but unfortunately it got worse. It soured to an almost sweet rancid scent. I sprayed it on two friends and my boyfriend and it was the same on them as well. I tried to return and Amazon will not allow a refund or exchange even after receiving it only 24 hours ago. I’m very unhappy because this is not even a scent that I can gift someone.

It smells just like parfum de marly oriana! And it lasts longer, projects better. Oriana was a waste of $,15 sprays amd no ome knew I was even wearing it. This is sweet, smells like orange blossom and marshmallow. Think of an orange creamsicle!

So let me preface this by saying that I have GONE THROUGH IT when it comes to blind buying perfumes online, definitely some GOOD hits but LOTS of misses lol! I rely on the reviews from Amazon buyers and watch lots of videos on Tik Tok and Youtube to get an idea of what the perfume might smell like and let me just say, anyone who said this perfume smelled good … was definitely right!

Now I get certain notes might not be for everyone, I consider myself a “gourmand girlie” I like for my scents to smell sweet and edible and like vanilla but this perfume intrigues me in a weird (but good!) way.

Let’s start off with the packaging .. absolutely solid and so beautifully made! 10/10

Now lets get into the scent: When I spray it I definitely get sweet but not overpowering and floral but not ROSEY. One of the top notes is stated as being Mandarin and I definitely smell that but I wouldn’t go so far as to say its overly citrusy because the vanilla and musk prevent it from being so. If I can describe it in words I’d call it an Orange Creamsicle, its soft and creamy. It’s so not what I’m used to but I absolutely adore it, I love pairing it with EOS 24 Hr Moisture Body Lotion in Vanilla Cashmere. It’s such a fun, girly, feminine perfume. In terms of longevity, I think it holds up well for what it is. When sprayed on clothes I definitely smell it up until the next day.

Compliments: I’ve gotten several compliments while wearing this perfume but twice while I was at the gym SWEATING! I was in the locker room and a woman stopped me dead in my tracks to ask me what I had on, she said it smelled a lot like Lychee to her and I thought that was so interesting! Another time a member at the gym came up to me and said “You smell like a superstar, you smell like Barbie!” and listen, I don’t know what that means but i’ll take it LOL!

This review is entirely too long but I’ll say that a lot of the reviews have mentioned that this perfume smells like Love Don’t Be Shy by Killian and Oriana and I’d say it has a similar DNA, I did a lot of research on affordable dupes and stumbled upon Lattafa’s Ansaam Gold but prior to choosing this one I ordered Dossier’s Floral Marshmallow because it was stated as also being a dupe but immediately ended up returning it because I could not get with the smell at all! If you’re like me stuck between two choices, I promise Ansaam Gold is the right choice 🙂

I loved this fragrance right out of the box! With the first spray, I immediately smelled the mandarin orange, but it was perfectly balanced with the warm musky and vanilla base notes. As the perfume dried down, I could smell the floral notes, which I do recognize as rose, but it isn’t that strong, overpowering rose scent. Every breath I take, I smell a different note, and each time, it is in brilliant harmony with every other note it contains.
This scent definitely projects! I sprayed like I typically do, and it was a bit too much (not bad at all, just strong) so next time I will go a little easier. My husband smelled it in our room as soon as I sprayed it, and I have a feeling this is going to last quite a while!
I blind bought this after reading reviews and watching videos, and I’m so glad I did! The price is fantastic for the quality; the scent is delicious, the bottle is very heavy and beautiful, and the big it came in was art in itself! Another winner from Lattafa!

So I bought this perfume because I saw this video on TikTok. Somebody saying that this is a due for Delena. I have just smelled this Perfume the real Perfume once, but then I just ordered this bottle and it is affordable and it is literally literally the Duke for Delena and I think it smells so amazing. I remember that day I was on work and one of my supervisor just came around and told me that you were smelling so good at that. The whole hallway is smelling like my Perfume that was really good compliment so there are like 23 incidents when people literally stopped me asking what Perfume I’m wearing and I just showed them the link and I showed them the picture and where I bought it from the Amazon. So yeah if you wanna if you like that Perfume just go for it blindly. And yeah it is super last long, Perfume, just go ahead and go ahead and buy it

I was SHOCKED when I sprayed this on paper to get my first reaction. I have seen many reviews on it and was nervous that this was 0 returns. I have tried dossier floral marshmallow and now this. Actually sprayed LDBS on my arm before coming home and opening this package.

Now to the review, this is Very VERY close. Like almost spot on. I say that because LDBS is way sweeter. You get more of that sweet candy in the opening. This one is a tiny bit lighter and fresher. A bit easier to wear everyday. The bottle is gorgeous 😍 and heavy. The scent lasts a while on clothes and hair, not so much on skin. I would say dossier is the exact 100% dupe of LDBS and this is like 98%. Overall I’m obsessed 😍 and so glad I ordered this.
