These are safe, secure, they’ve never dropped a bottle on me, and hey don’t scratch my bottles as some do. They haven’t broken after hundreds of rides. What else do you need?

It was lightweight and loved how the water bottle goes into holder BUT if you have bike with a larger headed screw base this will not work due to the area where the holes are are indented and the screw won’t sit flat. The screws that came with it do not fit my bike. Odd thought all were pretty standard but they are not

The cages weigh a little more than the carbon ones and don’t look quite as shiny. But other than that these are terrific cages for compact frame bikes or any bike, really. I use these as I have a compact frame road bike and the side loading nature makes it easier to get bottles in and out. So far I have used with Camelbak bottles and regular Klean Kanteen steel ones as well as 710ml Gatorade bottles. The bottles stay in even on fairly rough roads and the cages don’t lose them.
Lezyne products look great, and unless you have to match your carbon bike with carbon cages, get these instead as they are incredible value for money!

I bought this to solve a problem with water bottles that are too tall to be removed under the top tube. This cage solves the problem very nicely! However, I have had the water bottle pop out twice (pothole and railroad tracks). They were pretty solid hits but the other water bottle (traditional) stayed in place without a problem. I had to break cadence to stop and retrieve the bottle.

These side-pull cages make it a lot easier to use bottles under my 1/2 frame bag. They are not exceptionally light; but are very sturdy, reasonably priced, & holds my bottles without incident on gravel roads. Compared to my prior cages, it’s a bit harder to remove/insert bottles but I’ll probably get use to it. Right now I keep squeezing my drink mix all over the frame…

These are very sturdy and grip the water bottle well. The side mount is so much easier to use than the vertical pull, especially with my 1 Liter bottles and a slopping top tube carbon frame.

Due to my frame size and also using a frame bag, I am restricted to the size of bottle I use and also I found a normal cage to be quite restrictive a difficult to use. I purchased the side load and what a difference. The bottles clip in and out easily but are strong enough that the bottles do not fall out. I would strongly recommend these cages.
