My previous pack and play mattress was thicker and sturdier than this one, more like an actual mattress. This one is definitely thinner and flimsier, and I had to work to make sure the corners weren’t bent from the pressure of the sheet I put on it. As you can see in the picture, it’s very thin and bends easily.
However, I had to get a new mattress because my previous one had one of those plastic cover type things on it and it got ripped to shreds once my kid discovered jumping. It was 1.4 inches thick, all one piece, and definitely sturdier. But it still barely made it through one kid.
So, even though this one is thin and I wouldn’t want to sleep on it, my 1yo seems to like it just fine, it’s washable, and the flimsiness seems like it might actually hold up better to jumping when he gets to that stage.
Additional notes:
It’s nice that it comes with a travel case, but honestly it’s thin enough that I could just wrap it up in the pack and play without an issue.
Another reviewer said it’s not memory foam, and I agree, but I also don’t see anywhere in the description that it claims to be, either.

It’s not “memory foam” !!! It’s just a regular foam, seller posts false advertisement to mislead buyers, it does not worth that much of the price if it’s just regular foam!

Ordered for a pack and play I bought at a thrift shop to have for visiting infants. It works really well. I was worried it was too thin, but was assured it wasn’t by visiting mothers so highly recommend.

My baby doesn’t sleep well on the hard board that comes with the Graco Pack N Play. The fabric of that board also makes a lot of noise, so my baby ends up waking herself up on it. When she got older, we got a separate mattress for the Pack N Play and she sleeps much better on that mattress compared to the original board. That mattress, however, is 3 inches thick and not very portable. I now have a cruise planned and I heard the “cribs” on that are available on the cruise are sometimes dirty, so we plan on bringing her Pack N Play. We wanted a portable mattress to bring as well.
It’s thin. As stated, it’s only about 1 inch thick. This is widely advertised on the ad and is also considered a safety feature, so I can’t say I didn’t know it would be thin when I bought it. It does feel a little flimsy to be considered a mattress; I feel it’s more akin to a mattress topper. But for travel purposes, thin is important. I can easily fit this whole thing in the car seat bag. The travel bag is thin, but will suffice.
Most importantly, I’ve put my baby on it and she seems content with it. As long as she can sleep on it, I’m not too concerned about anything else.

This Lilian&Gema Pack and Play Mattress worked great for us. We took it on vacation for my son who would be sleeping in a pack and play and we figured he would stay in it if it were more comfortable. He slept through the night every night so I would say it was worth it. It has it’s own travel bag so it traveled well. We were so grateful for it. I think it would be great for short or long-term use. Make sure you give it time to thicken from the shrink wrap.

I like that this is a trifold mattress and it has a carrying case. But, it is exceptionally thin and doesn’t seem like it would provide much support or comfort for sleeping on. It’s not much better than a thick blanket placed on the base of a pack-n-play.
