Absolutely incredible BT speaker. Thumps the house with AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N Roses –
After two days of testing, I’m returning this defective speaker. It sounds great, but often fails to turn on and sometimes cuts out only moments into being turned on. Very disappointed. We love our old Stanmore.

I have a decent collection of Hi Fi gear, from vintage Yamaha, NAD, and Klipsch, to Primare and Definitive Technology. It can get a little complicated when you just want to “turn it on and listen to background music.” My wife needed something simple to satisfy that requirement. And this unit does it in spades!
Connectivity with this unit is a non-issue: turn it on, pair it with your device, and play–you do not need an app to get it up and running. The controls could not be more simple: there are six in all, but the volume, and maybe the bass and treble are all you will really need. And now there is the quality, WOW! The look and feel of quality on this unit is beyond ANYTHING that I have spent a mere $300.00 on!
And that quality extends into the sound. Sound is so subjective that I am not even going to try to describe it, except to say that it is BIG, CLEAR, and DETAILED. I have never heard anything like this at this price point. We have a small house (1300sqft), and this thing fills it well. My wife loves it!
Just a point that I must mention, but that in absolutely no-way reflects on the quality and value of this unit: they (Marshall) claims that this unit produces a wider sound stage than its predecessor. And while it might do just that, I have never heard the previous model for comparison. While I can state from first-hand experience that the sound is HUGE, especially when one considers its size, I cannot say that a full stereo sound-stage has been achieved.
With that said, this unit is PERFECT for anyone who wants incredibly simple ease-of-use, HUGE sound, beautiful retro looks with all the modern tech you need–and that won’t break the bank–well, this is it.

This is not just a normal Bluetooth speaker. I own a bunch of Marshalls and a few Bluetooth speakers. The sound of of this thing is incredible!!!! The full sound with powerful bass is amazing. It’s like Godzilla is walking through your living room with a nun tearing silk at the same time. It’s monumentous. It’s much more powerful than 80’s systems. I highly recommend getting this speaker if you want to listen to your music daily with a Bluetooth speaker.

I like its shape very much, it has a high-end feel, although I am not a music lover, but I can feel that its sound quality is very good, it adds a wonderful touch to the decoration of my home. I like it very much.

Volveria a comprarla.

Great sound, and my daughter loves the retro look.
If you’re buying this speaker to pair with a Bluetooth turntable make sure to stay away from the Audio Technica LP60XBT. It doesn’t allow other streaming devices to share the speaker.
I ended up replacing the turntable with the Sony PS-LX310BT. It works like a charm.

My first blue tooth speaker was a Bose unit. I’ve had good luck with Bose products in the past but that all changed when I bought their speaker. Nice in it’s appearance but that’s all I can say about it. I downloaded the Bose phone app which also turned out to be a joke. Nothing on the damn thing except a lot of Mickey Mouse bull,. that didn’t help. As far as paring went I got it to pair just once that’s it. When I did have it paired it had not much more volume than my speaker on my phone has! Imagine that? I have some hearing loss so I bought it for that.
Ok the Marshall Stanmore III was a whole different deal. I downloaded their ap and it all went pretty well. Their ap isn’t anything to write home about either. But it does have some troubleshooting suggestions along with an owner’s manual. I couldn’t get it to play the audio on my desktop (Windows 10) My desk top is an older computer so maybe that’s part of the problem? It pairs up easily with my Samsung TV and my Samsung phone. However I can’t get the phone’s audio to play thru the speaker? I don’t know what’s up with that? The sound is the best part. Lots of bass and treble. The knobs on it remind me of my Marshall amplifier. This speaker has enough volume in it to drive you out of the room although I didn’t crank it up that high. Adding it to my Samsung QL60 TV made a very nice addition to it. The cheesy speakers on the TV are awful. I think I may also add the Marshall Woburn III speaker to my collection. That thing is just awesome. I didn’t want to spend the money on Marsha;;s version of a blue tooth speaker until I liked it. I think I’ll keep this one, theres some things I wish I could get working on it such as the lack of phone conversation (the speaker phone just plays on the phone when I try. It plays music from my phone just fine.
I think Marshall has a great series of speakers now and it’s about time someone made and easy and great sounding blue tooth speaker. Would I recommend this to my friends? Yes

First of all, the box was heavy so knew it was quality before I removed it from the box. Then you open it and it takes 10 seconds to plug it in, then another minute to pair with your smart TV! I’ve been looking high and low for a quality, affordable Bluetooth speaker for my Fire Tv without hooking up a bunch of wires and making it basically ONLY a home theater system. This one has crisp, quality sound and control of the Bass and Treble with easy knobs on top of the speaker. No need to even hook it up to app! So impressed!

I use this unit as a monitor to playback and check the digital quality of my music when ripping CDs to my laptop. This solid unit comes with a sweet app that compensates for the speaker being placed near a wall or corner.
I seldom use the word craftmanship any longer but the fit and finish (especially of the top mounted button/knobs/switch controls, made of brass) add to the overall appearance of a quality conversation piece.
Bluetooth connectivity is easy and the performance is a good leap up from the Stanmore II. Crank it, or not, it can aptly handle the task at hand.

Easy set up and connect to bluetooth speaker and good quality sound. Value for money

I barely write reviews, but felt like I had to write one for this product. As others have mentioned, the sound is crisp and really fills the room. Aesthetics-wise, it feels like a quality product with the leathery finish, steel panel, snappy switch, and smooth, rubberized adjustment knobs. Yet, it is minimalistic and inoffensive to the eye — you can keep it on your desk and forget it’s there. The Bluetooth pairs seamlessly and stays paired — I have had major issues with my Bose products on this aspect. One slight annoyance is that if no audio is playing for a while, the speaker goes into some sort of sleep mode, and you have to adjust the volume to get it to wake up — not sure why this feature is necessary, as the speaker is connected to wall power.
I also recommend to get the app — it allows you to update the firmware and compensate for the placement of the speaker in the room. I found that doing the compensation led to a noticeable improvement of the sound.
