MELPO Smart RGB LED Flood Light 8000LM

Just got them hrs ago so cant comment on durability, BUT, first thing I noticed our the white warm light is real, its not a combination of RGB like many other color changing LED’s, those put off a not normal white, these put off real warm white! Thats a huge plus. Second thing is it uses BLE which means it pairs through the app and not the phone.. this means it is always connected.. you don’t have to re-pair. And, they mesh so they are always in perfect sync! I have 4. Real glass also. Thinking about getting more! Some reviews say they leaked water. I could see how that could happen Since it looks like the glasses is glued in, Depending who glued it there could be a void, So I may just get some silicone and add it to the small gap between glass and frame.

I have used these lights for 2 things, lighting up my house different colors on holidays, and aiming them at the street when it is dark to light it up for the neighborhood kids. It has exceeded my expectations in both regards. With the app the lights are easy to control and adjust, one at a time or all as a group. I have had them outdoors in all elements (not snow) continuously since purchase (9 months as of this writing) and they continue to perform well. (One note at the bottom.)

For holidays, it really adds a fun splash of color to the house, but I get the most enjoyment from these from lighting up the street. I didn’t expect them to be bright enough to light up the street (I have 4) and only did it as a test, however my wife and I were both impressed, so we kept them up and turn them on at night when kids are out in the street at dusk / dark.

We did have one issue recently, a light had moisture inside of it and stopped working. I contacted support as the listing mentions a 2 year warranty. They got back to me within 24 hours and had shipped a replacement unit out. I received that replacement unit within 3 days. These lights are amazing and the warranty service was just as good. I highly recommend these.

The phone app is cheesy but works .. I’ll be watching the price for them to drop lower and plan to buy 12 more for my shop. Light show in my shop lol

I love(d) these lights. They are bright although not as much as some reviews suggest. The color selection is near endless and the app control works real well. The longevity is questionable. They worked flawlessly for about a year and were not impacted by the weather. Then, one of the lights began to malfunction. I could no longer power on/off with the app, light burns until power is disconnected. When you toggle the on/off button it does randomly change the color. And, you lose all control of color selection (a selection of RED results in the brightest WHITE I’ve seen from the lights. I tired to contact the seller for support but was ignored. They are only sold in pairs so when one goes you have to purchase two! When assessing the value of a potential purchase be sure to include the product life.

These are hands down the best. I have 10 total 80W color changing bulbs and absolutely love them. You can use them as uplights and accent your house or as decorative colors on holidays or to support your favorite professional sports team. They are very bright. You can purchase earn white or cool white so make sure you read which one you buy if you want them as a set. Costumer service is great and they will get back to you within the day. I had issues with a light after 11 months and they exceeded my expectations and replaced my light. And also replaced ones that had water damage and moisture that still actively worked for the time being.
