The “plastic peg and nut” were very difficult to bolt on. But we finally put it together and it looks good now!

This is such an impressive hamster cage! We love the clear top level and our new hamster, Chip, loves the wheel on top! When we first introduced Chip to her new home, she loved the basement level. We added a few additions like a sand bath and some interactive toys, like a swing, on the inside. She has loved exploring her new habitat!
The only thing I would mention is the clear part, in the two corners where it meets the cage, are not fully staying put. They do move a bit…..I don’t think it will be an issue of Chip pushing it open to get out or anything but that could be impoved. I may add some tape here just to ensure it stays sturdy….but other than that, this is an awesome new home for Chip!

We needed to replace our hamster cage after the cat figured out how to knock the tunnel off to get to the hamster. The hamster loves tunnels so I wanted to find an affordable cage with a tunnel on the inside. This one is great! The hamster loves it and is safe from the kitty! It also takes up much less space than the old cage.
Our hamster is a large Syrian breed so he’s quite big and this cage is a great size for him. Should also work well for a rat but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything larger.

I bought this as a gift for my niece along with 2 little hamsters and she loves it. Its pretty big, the little critters have some much room to run around and play. Its pretty sturdy and easy to put together highly recommended for small pets

Such a fun hamster cage but within the first 2 months of purchasing our hamster escaped 2 times through the upper plastic sides. We have to tape it shut to ensure it is secure. I would not recommend this for the design of the upper portion.

It did come with pretty good instructions, although I failed to recognize some of the “pegs” on the ramps and cozy spot, those are little nubs that fit onto the cage slots in the top. The main nuts to hold the back on were pressure fit and I’m a little older and it was a little hard for me. But once the back was on the rest of assembly went fairly quickly. The image in the ad showed a Syrian hamster in it, but maybe my boy is just big. I think he has enough space. He does fit up the tube just fine. Today was day one, so, we shall see how it goes. I think it’s nicely put together and feels sturdy and secure. Hard to escape from. Which is a good thing. The cat is taking notes for me. I like the way the water bottle fits snugly so no more rattling when he drinks. Overall I think it was very nice for the price.

We purchased a hamster habitat from a big box store and it broke in three days. It was frustrating. I was nervous purchasing a cheaper habitat on Amazon as a replacement, but to our surprise this turned out to be amazing. Kyle (my daughters hamster) loves his new home. There is plenty of space, plus the kiddos love watching him play “upstairs” as they call it. I would highly recommend this product. Putting it together with the instructions was never going to happen but once I pulled up the product photo in color I had it together in less than 10 minutes. The instructions could really use some work, but still 5 stars. 😁

We bought this cage for my son’s dwarf hamster. The little girl is a bit of an escape artist, and the cage we first bought at the pet store had bars just far enough apart that she could sneak out. We found this one, loved how affordable it was, and all of the parts it came with. This cage has so far proven to be inescapable. We love that she has so many levels to explore, and have so much fun watching her through the plastic. Even the dog sits there and watches her run around on her wheel! It’s also really easy to clean, the upper part we just clean with a baby wipe, and easily dump the litter from the bottom. It might not be big enough of a cage for a larger hamster, but it’s the perfect size for our little Luna!

10/10 recommend! Our hamster loves this spacious home. She is rather large and enjoys all the extra space. It is not noisy, very easy to clean and the only time she got out is when my daughter left the lid open. If you’re looking for a hamster home, buy this one!

Even though I like it, my hamster isn’t to keen with it. It could do with pegs to go into the hole on the back for him to climb as he keeps falling out of his house, maybe that’s why he sleeps at the bottom. Hood but could be so much better.

The plastic front cover was cracked on arrival, which was not so cracked as to be unusable, but enough that I didn’t appreciate it as it will absolutely reduce the usable time for this cage…
But beyond that the water bottle they sent with this cage barely fits, and when I say barely I mean once installed the water nozzle practically bottoms out on the floor of the cage while the top of the bottle nearly touches the top of the cage, leaving no allowance for adjustment.
As a result my daughter’s hamster wasn’t drinking from it. Thankfully we noticed before the poor thing dehydrated and bought/installed an alternate bottle, which is immediately drank from with gusto.
So in essence, cage was broken, poor choice in water bottle measurements was dangerous, and as a consumer I am disappointed. Hence the one star.
Note to the company, if it weren’t damaged and had a bottle that sat more than .25inch off the floor this could easily have been a 5 star cage.
