Je suis loin d’être un professionnel dans le repeinturage d’auto (touch-up). Bref mon auto a dix ans. Fait un compound sur l’auto complet et sa peinture est devenu plus lustrer a plein. Quelques touch-up… ce compound retire des sablage a l’eau de 1500g… excellent produit, faut remarquer que c’est du “Mothers” l’un des meilleurs produit pour l’auto selon mon opinion

I used this for polishing a Cadillac. It’s hard to use by hand, of course I realized this after I bought it and realized it was designed to be used by hand.
I also tried Chemical Guys VSS polishing compound and found it to yield better results with more ease of use.

I used this product to remove the oxidation on my old man’s 94 pickup truck. The pictures are of the bed – how the whole truck looked before polishing it, and the front quarter panel after polishing. I used the Makita 9237CX3 7-Inch Variable Speed Polisher-Sander with Polishing Kit to do the work – Also purchased from Amazon.

Have a classic car, paint had swirl marks in it. Buffed it for about 1 1/2 minutes a section, removed the swirls and holograms and set up for waxing. Very nice product. Not made for really bad paint.

I had a few spots on the hood of my 2000 Infiniti QX4. It has gold colored paint and I had stupidly used RainX to remove some bird crap off the hood while I was treating the windshield. I didn’t realize the alcohol content of the RainX would strip the protective layer of wax on the hood which caused the sun to discolor the paint. So before it got really bad (a month later you could really see exactly where I had applied RainX and where it drizzled down the hood) I bought some of this stuff. It took some elbow grease and quite a bit of gentle rubbing to even out the paint on the hood, but it’s all cleared up now. I nice layer of wax over the hood to finish the job and it’s back to perfect. Of course I used Mothers Paste Wax to finish the job.

I had a “blurry” spot on the dark gray metallic paint on my vehicle from bird poop that I couldn’t get off with just plain wax or polish. I tried this finishing polish with the hand held micro fiber applicator and was able to remove the “stain” after a few attempts. (probably could have done the job in one application, not being a body work professional I wasn’t sure just how abrasive a polish might be) Turns out its the best looking spot on the whole car so I had to wax the rest of it to match

Worked as i expected it to, it really did make the paint look better, as for swirls and scratches though, it took out a few swirls after going over the same part multiple times. It is a finishing polish so you might want a compound before using this if your car has a lot of swirls and clear coat scratches. This polish was easy to clean up, came off with a microfiber cloth and no mess… and again did remove some swirl marks… but what it did best was enhance your paint and make the car shine.
