Used this to attempt to bring life back into the original paint on my 1989 S10 Blazer, the red paint was dull and more pink than red.
I was skeptical that there would be a “magic wand” product as this seems to be advertised as but after many attempts with other products and processes I gave this a go.
The results surprised me as the shine actually did return, looking nearly new I would estimate the paint looks as good as when the truck was only five years old however I would not go so far as to say it looked brand new.
As far as minor scratch removal this was a hit however leaving some minor scratches visible but they aren’t deep enough to feel with a fingernail so for this I would give only four stars.
As far as oxidation removal, some panels highest which got more severe sun exposure and more oxidation than others are still pink however more red than when I started so for this I would give only four stars.
As far as shine this did do an awesome job, even the portions with light scratches and oxidation shined like crazy so for this I would give five stars.
This is by no means an amateur’s venture nor those for the faint of heart, it is a good long process for the best results. Following instruction and being patient with it. Most of all ensuring not to buff too long letting the product dry out.
If there’s anything to note is do not get discouraged before all three products included are applied, the very best result was after the final stage was applied and allowed to dry for a few hours.
Set your expectations to medium and your patients to high. This is a good product but not a Magic Wand.

Saw the product at SEMA and really liked it. Basically you grip where there’s black on the dual action polisher. I use a Porter Cable polisher and while it’s powerful, it’s also heavy in all the wrong places, and for polishing a car, I grip my Porter Cable in all the wrong places. This Wax Attack DA polisher has a great pistol grip for positive control, and the weight is right over the pad, where you want it.
I use Mother’s polishes and waxes on my cars because of the quality of shine and ease of use. This package with the Wax Attack polisher combines my favorite polishing and wax products with a solid polisher, and at the suggested price, a solid deal. I easily spent nearly double that to acquire my current polisher, pads, microfiber towels and wax. And I don’t have a case for my current polisher, unlike this Wax Attack system which gives you a nice case to keep everything in and organized.
***Nov 23 2015 Update***
I couldn’t wait to get my own Wax Attack 2 polishing kit and ordered as soon as I saw it was available. I received it and put it to “real world” use… at home in my garage. And on a car with black paint under flourescent lights, no less. The Wax Attack package is extremely handy… no more hunting around for product and clean pads. It’s all in the case. And the polisher, as others has stated, does not have speed control, but I don’t think it’s necessary as the pads and Mothers’ compounds are aggressive enough to do the fine polishing without worrying about speed. The polisher feels good in-hand and doesn’t vibrate, causing me to lose sensation in my finger tips like my other polisher. That translates into more time doing the polishing and finishing the job sooner. Results were very good and I’m extremely pleased with the Wax Attack polisher and Mother’s polish and wax products.

Recently purchased a Wax Attack 2. It is a nice kit. There is enough extra room in the case for another pad (wish they included 4 rather than just three) as well as a clay bar, a sampler size bottle of Showtime, and more microfibers.
The pads are 6″ers so I will be able to use previously owned pads that I’ve used with a PC. The WA 2 has no speed control, but the speed seems appropriate. It is lighter and easier to manipulate than the PC. The pads are all the same soft black. I really like that the WA 2 pads have a recessed Velcro surface so the pads are automatically self-centering when attached to the machine.
All in all, I like the kit and think it will get well used. Being self-contained, the kit will be handy to take to friends and family. I think this Mothers WA 2 kit will be more than enough for the hobbiest with a small fleet to take care of and needs to do maintenance and minor rehabilitation.
***Addendum 12/7/15***
Used the kit on a friend’s black ATS after going over the whole car with Mothers clay and Showtime. Worked great. The ergonomics are better than my older PC…lighter and easier to manipulate. I ended up liking the softer pads as compared to the harder ones I’ve used with the PC. They are more malleable and got into tighter curves. I don’t know if it intentional or not, but one nice feature is that the WA 2 machine slows down if one bears down too hard. I caught myself forcing it down a few times on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. If you do that, the machine lets you know by slowing down. A nice self-correcting feature.
The poor car also had a decent scuff on a side mirror from some a-hole in a parking lot. Between the clay and the 3 polishing products, the scuff feels totally smooth and is not visible. My friend was very pleased.
