I was looking for a good quality string light to take with me camping. These looks great so I got it. What I like about it is the string quality feels great, the light is bright, and the cable long. I like how it’s self contained so it is easy to store. The built in power bank makes it convenient so I don’t have to use my other power banks to power it.
Things I don’t like or can be improved:
The biggest grip I have is the string light isn’t connected to the power bank by default. The end of the cable is stored in an empty storage port. So you have to unwind all of the cord, then plug it into the power bank. So if you want to only use half the cord, no luck, you have to unwind the whole thing. Additionally, if you have it all wind up and the case open, it would have been a great opportunity to use the lights as a lantern. But since it’s not connected to the power bank winded up, no such feature. Leaving it plugged in isn’t an option because the cable will stick straight out putting stress on the connection. I believe the idea was so that you don’t accidentally turn on the lights while it’s in the case. But I figure making a power button that doesn’t get accidentally turn on would have been a smarter idea.
The case is on the larger size so it is hard to get a good grip to twist open. It should have something on the bottom to help with grip.
The solar panel is nice to have but it isn’t that great of a feature. It’s so small it would take a long time to charge the power bank. I would have rather no solar panel and other better features.
Overall, good product and I’m happy to have it but not quite perfect.

These are so cute! My partner was doubtful about how well they would work, but they were great! Most of the settings are quite dim, so I would only use them if you didn’t really need to be able to see super well, like if you wanted it mostly dark to enjoy the fire, but didn’t want to trip over anything either. In these photos, they’re on the brightest setting. I think the first photo is a little misleading as to their brightness, since it was a night photo with a 3 second exposure, so it looks brighter. I turned off that setting for the second pic.
Anyway, it rained on us like crazy, and it was super dark outside, and these lit the area perfectly. I never had to use the lantern. The charging thing got wet on the outside and still seems fine. I wish I could speak as to how long they last when run on high, but our tent leaked and all of the blankets got wet, so we ended up going home early, and didn’t get to use these as much as I had hoped. But my skeptical partner said that they were definitely a win, and they ended up working far better than he had anticipated. 😊
I kinda wish they had a blinking “twinkle light” function too.

It’s so small and easy to transport! The lights are so bright but you can also dim them for ambient lighting. Loving having these lights for camping. It’s worth every dollar! Most definitely buying another one.

These lights are amazing. They hold a charge at medium power for multiple nights in a row and give a nice, warm light that does a decent job of keeping the dark at bay. Rugged and compact, they seem durable. I bought a second to round out our campsites.

I bought these back in 2020 and fell in love! They’ve been with me camping, tailgating, and playing in the backyard. The lights get pretty bright and I never had an issue with the solar charge. Just bought a new one because the wire of my old ones got cut in half by a metal piece of a folding chair. Immediately came to buy the same product. Do be careful because the wire is pretty soft and can be severed by sharp edges.

These lights are awesome. They are compact, 3 different brightness settings, and the battery life is excellent.

These Luci lights surpass my expectations! We used them while camping, stringing them inside our shelter, with the solar panel sitting outside. Despite the weather being cloudy, they stayed well-charged, providing us with more than enough light to play games well past darkness.
The spool/ solar panel is brilliant. Allowing the lights to roll up to a compact size for travel and storage.
When I first saw the lights in use by another camper I was intrigued, but balked at the $100 price tag. When I saw them for $70, I felt it was time to buy them. So glad I did! So much better than other solar lights we have tried!

These lights are on a string that wraps around the inside of the container. They charge by USB or sun. Lovely warm light, easy to unwind and hang up. Look great inside my tent.

The string lights are very good, plenty of light plenty of length. The battery life isn’t the best, the older smaller lights had better capacity. The detachable battery/solar is a great addition.
The original lights with the USB plug built onto the end of the lights is still the best option in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded.
I have 2 of the regular (micro-usb version) and long version of these lights and i cant imagine camping without them! Just keep an eye on any “twisting” or some bulbs may not light up properly like in the first video. In the media, both were on their brightest setting.
Setting up is very easy. There are hooks throughout the string for both products. The longer version’s string is detachable which helps with the setup. For battery, i kept the regular one on its lowest setting and after 4-5 hours it was still 4 bars on the battery indicator. As for the longer version, i dont have an exact time, but I kept it on at its highest setting around 8pm and when i woke up at 4am, it was dead.
