Je suis très satisfait de cette carte. Très fluide avec mon processus Ryzen 5 2600. J’ai bien hâte d’installer mon Ryzen 5 5600 pour comparer les gains. Je recommande fortement.

Nvidia fan boy for longest time. Forgot their fanbase relationship, more “business” orientated. Awesome radeon graphics card! NO driver issues! Not the same Amd of years ago. More powerful and gamer orientated. Bye Sega, oops Nvidia. If u wanna continue being a fanboy(girl), continue paying higher price for features they discontinue or current gpus cant handle at highest settings. Physics! Oh why talk about, thats in the past. Ok. Lol.

TLDR: heavy card that has underwhelming performance, and runs very hot and very loud.

I tried two of these due to an issue with my PCIe 3.0 extension (that went away after replacing it with a 4.0 one), so I could test them thoroughly. The chip performs more or less ok, kind of underwhelming, for still $200 above MSRP I’ve expected a bit more.

Both my samples didn’t really reach their boost clocks and often even stayed below the GPU’s nominal game clock as it runs pretty hot, especially on warm days. The massive cooler seems to either be quite inefficient or doesn’t have enough contact with the GPU and the VRAM. Card and system temperature were much higher than anticipated, despite using an AIO for the CPU, even the side panel got extremely warm.

The fans get really loud under load, resulting in a noise level that significantly impacts audio levels when using desktop speakers, making it necessary to switch to a headset for gaming at night when the volume can’t be turned up as much.

With the driver versions 22.5 and 22.7 my system had frequent crashes of the Adrenaline driver and control software. These weren’t related to my PCIe version mismatch issue as they continued to happen after replacing the cable. It got a little more stable with 22.8.1, but the control panel still kept crashing.

The RGB looks ok, not too candy-like – but MSI’s software to control it is garbage that has no place on a well maintained system that is not only used to show off. Alternative software like OpenRGB, iCue or SignalRGB had trouble detecting and controlling the card properly.

The only upside I noticed is that the card is built like a tank. Despite its weight it seems to use its backplate as reinforcement to the PCB, which should help to reduce sagging. The box also contains an additional, inconspicuous bracket that can be used to further stabilize the card. Didn’t really matter to me as I use a vertical mount, but it’s good to see this issue covered.

I ended up sending both cards back and eventually went with a water-cooled 6900 XT for $800, which I am much more satisfied with. The driver issues seemed to have gone away since the latest update to 22.8.1, so I assume they were not related to any hardware faults, but I can’t say for sure.

Fue una buena compra ahora que los precios están bajando, sin embargo por desesperado pude haberme ahorrado algunos dólares de 3 cifras, sin embargo estoy feliz por el desempeño que tiene.

MSI is not known to make the best GPUs but this 6800XT is a value play for those looking to get a decent 1440p build going. A bit on the heavier side, would definitely sag on install unless vertically mounted. I had no problems setting it up, aside from the tilt triggering my OCD.

On my set up I was able to consistently get 200 fps on games like apex, destiny 2, and fortnite. So it should be more than enough for 144hz.

The Mystic light works well for the rgb, if you are a corsair fiend like me then this may be a turn off as it isn’t compatible or at least not detectable by Icue as of time of this review. A little on the noisy side but expected when you see how thicc it is.

For gaming I give it a 10/10. Aesthetics it gets a 7/10. Would I recommend it? Yes! As long as you don’t care about the look of your set up…then there are better looking options for those who like aesthetically pleasing builds.

This card has kept up with all my current gaming needs on Ultra settings. I know the price was quite high compared to normal due to the pandemic, but it’s a beast!!!!

Was eyeing this MSI card since prices started to drop in ’22. Watched some reviews online & the MSI 6800 XT Gaming Z Trio had among the tops in performance for 6800 XT’s. I marked it as favorite & was close to buying it at close to $600 when by my amazement it was on sale at $530 plus I had $10 bonus discount from Amazon so I bought immediately! I am so happy with the performance boost & Temps barely rise in my full tower. Be warned the size of the card is very large & just fit my case & that it needs 3 at 8-pin connectors for power, lucky I had an adapter for the third. Has a nice argb strip on the side for your lighting pleasure.
I get decent frames for all recent AAA titles like MWII & Battlefield 2042, its just my cpu bottlenecks the card & I’m looking to upgrade next so the frames will get to their full potential.
I was just surprised by delivery being in just the retail box & plastic not inside of a cardboard box, but it arrive in perfect condition although at my neighbors door.

Owned for 3 weeks & just love it – keep an eye out for sales sometimes ya get lucky!
