Multi-Orgasmic Couple: Sexual Secrets

In this book the authors discuss the concept of “sexual kung fu,” which despite the humorous connotations in the West simply means sexual practice. My biggest issue with the book is that it really should establish that it is a Taoist guide at the outset that is as much about Eastern spirituality concepts as it is about sex. It isn’t that I object to the book, it just isn’t what I expected given the title and cover art.

Having said that, there are some good pointers, and I found the chapters on health and aging to be especially well written, although I must admit that I found several of the exercises recommended to be vague and not particularly helpful.

I think that there are better books on the subject available that are more geared to the target audience with a specific “how to” approach. If you have an interest in Eastern spiritual beliefs and want to apply them in your sex life, this is an excellent book. Many, though, will find the extensive Taoist philosophy tiresome. The book has some well written chapters and sections (chapters one, two, and eight are very well done); just be aware of what you are buying before you purchase the book.

I learn so much about the art of orgasm in the first hour of receiving this book. Even though it didn’t have a paper covering it was in a great almost new condition. Happy with my purchase especially with the cost when compared to a new book.

Great read

This book provided my partner and I with the techniques, practices, and motivation to fulfill the title’s promise. It is a Taoist sexual manual; sort of like a Beginners Guide or A Taoist Sexual Practice Primer.
That being said, the Taoist methods that this book describes don’t require “belief” in a religion or spirituality – they discuss physical, verifiable practices that Taoists have known and written about for centuries. To me, the fact that the methods are time tested lend credence and validity to the art and methods.
As far as Taoist spirituality goes, I appreciated the fact that I didn’t have to wade through ancient culture, Taoist theories and Taoist “scriptures” to find the instruction I wanted. It got down to business, so to speak.
I love the information summaries, the info-boxes with the numbered steps or stages to practice, the reviews of essential concepts throughout the chapters and the tasteful pencil drawn pictures. Guides describing sexual practice have a line to walk between cheesy and trashy or too moralistic for practical application.

This book is amazing and I am extremely grateful to have found it and very very happy to be able to apply it.

How gently and superbly and amazingly this book explained the experiences of a random couple (“What are the odds?” as my partner would put it…) who have somehow found a connection to the Way- and how marvelous that it could help bring that journey to true realization for both of them. I have been reading this text after the fact, and unable to explain any of it- or my partner, my boo, to explain- either. Having heard the term “Sacred Sex” since the 1960s and simply believing it was a line for some men to have their way with some women- how astonishing, after all these years, to find that it actually means to make love with your souls as well as making love with your bodies.

What a tragedy that we in a western culture have been turned from these great benefits by several older organizations that, centuries ago, wanted to seize all available influence for themselves and share none with the poor, poor people they promised to safeguard. Now that protection against the invading hoards of infidels is temporarily stemmed, what a miracle that these blessed secrets are being made available to a spiritually lonely and starved public, once more.

I understand and sympathize that this book might be repudiated by true Taoists. But serious scholars and priests, please consider the humble opinion of a neophyte, who has had some little experience with this tradition and a whole lot in life, from a turbulent childhood on- this text could help Enlighten people. And wasn’t that one of the purposes of Lao Tzu in taking the time to write his own book, just before his retirement from society? I found this a wonderful book, although I have been able only to scratch the surface of what it claims to be able to teach a man. The emphasis on non-ejaculation is very valuable, even though I have never come close to the whole-body, non-ejaculatory orgasms said to be possible. I was, however, lucky enough to find a woman who could enter an orgasmic state with my staying erect and right with her for the better part of an hour.
