It’s fantastic. But it’s very small. Very small. Makes very good ice cream though. Once the cup is frozen (12+ hours), eating fresh ice cream in 15 minutes! I will definitely order a larger size.

A little ice cream on demand is perfect for me. Buying a pint? Too much. Seriously, if you want more than a generous taste, get an ice cream maker that makes a pint. This one is perfect for about 1/2 cup of mix. I am just glad that there are items like this that suit my wish to avoid the prevalent super size trends.

Love this splurge purchase and have used it several times to make a “healthier” after-dinner treat! Recipes are included with the maker – most only require 4-5 ingredients. Found it helpful to mix ingredients in a bullet blender before pouring into maker (which must be frozen ahead of time) and blending for about 20 minutes. Used fresh strawberries or peaches with great results and the peanut butter ice cream topped with chocolate chips was equally delicious! Note that the recipes are for 2 modest servings and my photo above is a double batch.

The picture of the amount ice cream this ice cream maker makes is very misleading. 150ML = 5.7 OZ = 2/3C. How would that serve 2 adults? 1/3C each is a very small serving. Also the part you put in the freezer is the whole bottom part of the ice cream maker not just the tiny metal container that freezes that part does not come out of the ice cream maker so it takes up a large space in your freezer. I am very disappointed in in this ice cream maker. I bought it for my twin grandsons for their birthday to have fun making frozen yogurt and ice cream and it is too small. It would take days to make enough for them to make and share with their dad. It takes 15 hours to refreeze the bottom part again to make another batch. Of course I can’t return it, I bought it early for their birthday and the return date has closed. Very disappointed. Really think about this purchase and if it would it work for your family. If you want to spend $40 you can get two more bottom parts to freeze but do you have enough freezer space? Not for me, I don’t have enough extra freezer space, not alone the amount of time and clean up to waste. 😞

I know there was some negative reviews that the serving was small, but I thought it was a perfect single serving. It is definitely fun to try all the different recipes! The only negative was I wish it didn’t take 20 minutes to churn to ice cream. Gotta start it churning while you are eating dinner to have it be ready by the time you are done eating and ready for dessert. 110% recommend it. Works exactly as it states.
