This game console is just right for my 6 yr old son. He likes that he can play his game just like his big brother that has a game console (Nintendo Switch) too. My older son plays it too and like the different games it has to play. It’s a good game for rides to the store so my son will stay occupied and not get bored. Very good quality too.

内蔵のNESソフトは興味ないので触れません。
ソフトウェアエミュ機なのはまぁ見ればわかるので理解して購入しました。
それこそ10年以上昔だとFirecoreというBGMの音程が滅茶苦茶なMDエミュ互換機もあったのですが、この製品は動画を観た感じだと音程は問題ないと判断。
Androidベースでもないので遅延も大丈夫だろうと思い購入。
確かに遅延と音程は大丈夫だったのですがレビュー動画で伝わらない部分に問題がありました。
コマ落ちするのです。
60fpsで動作しないのでメガドライブ特有のゲームスピードが速い作品だとゲームになりません。
コロンバスサークルさんのハードウェアエミュ互換機である16ビットポケットMDHDでも30fpsで動作するという謎仕様がありましたがこちらは体感でそれ以上にカクついている印象。
キャラが大きくてスクロールスピードが速いゲームだとロクにキャラや敵弾を判別できずゲームにならないため、シューティングはまず無理だと思っていただいて結構です。
またソフトウェアエミュ互換機ですがステートセーブもないため、ストラテジーゲームなどをしたければレトロフリークやsega genesis flashbackを買ったほうがいいというあまりにも片手落ちなハードになっています。
液晶はバックライトが均一でなくて汚いしスピーカーはダイソーの300円スピーカーより悪いしとハードウェア的に良いところはありません。
付属の12in1カートリッジにはストリートレーサーやスペースファンキーB.O.B.が入っているのでそこを加味すると星2に出来ますが、本体単品には星1しかつけられません。正直1すらつけたくないですが。
携帯出来るメガドライブ本体が目当てならマジでコロンバスサークルさんに16ビットポケットMDプラスを買ってください。

There really aren’t a lot of options for this type of device right now. Short of buying an original Sega nomad, this is pretty much it. However, I’m still holding out hope that Hyperkin will eventually release one.
I am a retro game collector, so I have a bit if experience and knowledge about these things. I played with this handheld device for a few hours and have come up with some pros and cons.
First the pros:
-With the 40% off coupon, the price was exceptional.
-The sound is loud and crisp
-usb-c charging port
-The 16 bit graphics look phenomenal on the screen
-the screen has great color and brightness
-the device is simple to use and a good size
-the battery life seems to be acceptable, I’ve played for a few hours and it still has plenty of juice
Now for the bad:
-the cartridge port has a bit of a death grip on the game carts
-there is no 3.5mm Jack for headphones
-there is no adjustment for screen brightness
-clock speed seems too fast on some games
-the sound is tinnie
-The d pad is rather stiff
And the worst part of the device:
It is not compatible with all original Genesis/MD carts. In fact, only about half of the games I tried would load successfully, and two of those would freeze at some point during gameplay. At first I thought it was defective since the first 4 games I tried wouldn’t work.
Overall, it’s an ok device for the price until something better comes out. If it had a better emulator with more compatibility and a headphone jack it would be a huge improvement. I know it’s a new item tho, so I’m hopeful that later versions will improve. I have no opinion on the preloaded games. They are pretty run-of-the-mill off brand games.

This hand held is advertised as a portable Mega Drive unit. It is NOT.
The only games it will play is the built in 18 NES games and the games that come on the pack-in Mega Drive looking multi-cart.
I have a bunch of SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Cartridges and NONE of them work despite being able to be plugged in. But l, when you do try a genuine SEGA Cartridge, the game will not load and the unit defaults to the menu for the built in 18 NES games.

互換性も性能も低いので残念の一言。
良い点：Genesisソフトと国内版ＭＤソフトが動作すること、HDMI出力可能。
悪い点：たくさんありますが・・
・他の方のレビューにもある通り、コマ落ちすること。恐らく、20-30FPSになっている。
スーパーファンタジーゾーンで確認したら、表示されるショット数が明らかに少ない＆動きもぎこちない。
・LCDの輝度調整ができない、サウンドがLかRの片側しか出力されない。
・容量の大きいROM（コロンバスのシャオメイ・ダライアス）やバーチャレーシングは動作しない。
・Ever DriveもSDカードを認識しない。

We have a switch, a PS4, and a WII. This is definitely one of my favorites and is suitable for those who like those old school games. Easy to use and of course the best part is that is portable so I take anywhere to avoid getting bored.

The main appeal here is being able to play real Genesis/MD games on the go. This device is probably 1/4th the size of the Nomad and recharges via supplied USB-C cable. It also has an HDMI out and cable is also supplied. It played ALMOST everything I own with the exception of Strider but could be the cartridge. 6 buttons work as they should, only game I have that supports 6buttons is Shaq-Fu but it played as expected.
The viewing angles aren’t great on the screen but for what you’re paying and getting, it’s an OK tradeoff. It does come with 18 pico games built-in that I’ve never played but also a really cool Cartridge (with case and cover) with 12 more games, so that’s cool!
It’s a unique device that can bring back some life to your old carts if you can’t be bothered to hook up your old system or if you’d like to play the games wherever you want.
