The basket that holds the ice is very small only 2-3 scoops of ice and it also sits in the water reserve. So to empty it drips water and also causes ice to melt /refreeze into larger pieces if placed in another container while making more.
It does make ice quickly.

It makes pellet-like ice but not truly ice like from sonic. The ice maker is a little noisy but for the price the ice is decent. I added a picture of the ice in a drink so you could see what it looks like.

I love cubed Ice and I wasn’t going to break the bank for it it’s nice it could of been a lil more but it makes ice quick I love this machine

The nugget style ice the maker produces, but this product is horribly loud. I guess if you had a closet to keep it in it would be OK. Other makers we’ve had are much better and quieter. Oh and I almost forgot, you have to pay shipping to return, very odd for Amazon, but to me telling in what they expect, and want to deter people from doing once they plug this maker in.

The seller reached out and wanted to make it right, which they did. This may have been a one off, and while the noise was the issue, their return policy quickly supplanted that. However, they did make it right, and ultimately customer service is my number issue. The seller was super responsive and they reached out, so definitely a five star experience for me and I would have no issue purchasing any product from this seller.

Nice option at a more affordable price than the competition. Both my ice makers broke in my SS refrigerator so I needed something for easily accessible ice without having to do trays. This fits the bill. That being said, the ice is not the “flake” ice pellets but more of a tiny ice cube. Still highly crunchable without worrying about your teeth, as it’s soft enough. It makes the ice super quickly so there’s not really a lot of waiting for ice. That being said, the compartment does fill up very quickly so unless you are dumping into a bag for the freezer, you aren’t going to have tons of ice at once. It’s pretty loud and has gotten progressively louder over the two weeks since I have set it up, but not so much that it’s super annoying. The ice melts kind of fast in drinks, so if you are someone that wants a cube that last a bit longer, take that into consideration. Overall happy with the purchase, it sure beats laying out $600 for an ice machine.

This was a Mother’s Day present that I bought for myself. I was so tired of buying bags of ice cubes from Sonic Restaurant. Because our refrigerator ice maker was acting weird and I didn’t want to break it further, so stopped using it. I figured if I have to buy ice I might as well get this machine that makes the perfect beverage ice ! Perfect ice pellets to chew while sipping on your favorite beverage. I’m stoked to use this everyday this summer too !

The Ice machine did not work for my setting but would be perfect indoors or in a cooler area. Customer service provided me a full refund! I would definitely recommend the ice machine and this seller.

Eeeek!!! I’m SO EXCITED about this ice machine!! I have searched far and wide and for MANY months to find the small “pebble” “sonic” ice and my search FINALLY ended today when I received this FANTASTIC machine!! I used to drive and buy sonic ice in the bag, but I’ve since relocated to an extremely rural area (back to my hometown) and the nearest sonic is like, 30 miles away lol…hence, my search for my OWN machine. I was heartbroken at first because every machine I’d find was SO SO expensive…until I found this gem of a machine. When I unboxed it at home and began to see that magic pebble ice start to fall like a glorious waterfall of the PERFECT ice, I was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!! Buy it! It makes “THE” ice we all love from Sonic & CFA!!! I’ve been eating ice all afternoon!!
