I was worried when I ordered this battery that it would not fit my 16kwh Generac guardian generator as the item size in the listing specifications has a larger size than specifications for the battery that I found elsewhere. The actual battery size is 8″ tall, 9-1/2″ wide at the top but 8-3/4″ wide at the bottom and 6-1/2″ deep. Because it is narrower at the bottom it fits nicely into the little battery well inside my generator. Since I found it to be smaller than the listing states (in keeping with the actual specifications stated on other sites), it fit perfectly and is a nice upgrade from the original liquid lead acid battery that it replaced. It started my generator right up once the 1505 RPM sensor error was cleared through the keypad.

AS DIRECTED BY AMAZON, I RETURNED THIS $318 DOLLAR ODYSSEY AGM BATTERY TO THE 3RD PARTY (AUTOPLICITY) AND RETURNED IT VIA FEDEX IN THE SAME BOX IT CAME TO ME IN, VERY HEAVY DUTY BOX AND PACKING. SHIPPED IT BACK TO AUTOPLICITY VIA FEDEX GROUND AT $60 EXPENSE, AND THEY ONLY REFUNDED ME $179 OUT OF $318!! THIS IS HORRIBLE AND ONEOF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD DEALING WITH AMAZON AND THIS COMPANY AUTOPLITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND NOBODY DEAL WITH THEM AS THEY LACK INTEGRITY AND HONESTY.

I have a 2019 Subaru Impreza Sport. My current OEM battery is working fine but at almost 5 years old I don’t want to take any chances getting stranded. I wanted to get a quality AGM battery and Odyssey batteries are known for being very good replacement batteries. While this battery is slightly less deep, the hold down bracket fit well and the install was not very difficult. It’s very nice that the battery has a built in handle at the top that folds down flush. My only issue with the install was for me, the negative pole was a little too small in diameter and I could not tighten down the battery terminal enough to get a tight fit. I had to use a small bit of lead shim to get it to fit tightly. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. I put a battery charger on the battery when it arrived but it really didn’t need a charge it arrived fully charged. Starts and works well.

Used to replace a Kubota tractor battery. Old battery was 550 CCA. This battery has more CCA for the same footprint. I have several Odyssey batteries in motorcycles, and have used in race cars. Always hold charge for extended periods of non use. Handle vibration and extreme conditions very well. Can be run in any orientation without danger of spilling or leaking due to AGM construction. Excellent batteries for the cost. Not as light as Lithium Ion, but much less expensive, and just as, or in some cases, more rugged.

the new battery is awesome, BUT when i bought my battery in sept 2023 after 1 year it died and when i did warranty claim with Odyssey I was told the bad was sold to me used, my battery was manufactured in 2019 and was out of warranty, they also said that Amazon is not an authorized reseller so go figure, I chatted with Amazon CS and they gave me a 40% credit, which was good, so be aware if the battery has dates marked on the face of the battery return it and get a new one.

Great batteries. Just to make note. Check size of original battery. The check fit on site was wrong for this battery fitting my 2007 Honda Accord. They must be using shipping box size ? They only make 2 sizes for my Honda. This one fit perfectly.
