The vest is attractive, very lightweight, fits snug, and gives you freedom of movement. I use it for kayaking, and I actually wear it, because it cushions my back from the kayak seat. It doesn’t rub my neck or my arms. While I have no intention of putting it to use as a life saving device, I have no doubt that it would work quite well, as long as I have it buckled up. It has four buckle straps which seems like an awful lot for passive kayaking, but it’s exactly what you’d want for more aggressive water sports.

I kept it because I really like how comfortable it is. However I don’t consider myself to have a large bust and for a women’s jacket you would think the jacket would account for this a bit more. Especially because it fits my waist perfectly fine. I have no issue buckling the top but it’s an awkward gap between my chest.

These are very good life vests. Well made. Tends to float you on your back if you tilt your head back. Can float and swim on front as well as the arms are not restricted by the vest. Does not slip off when in the water.

Just received today therefore I haven’t used it however the fit is perfect. After reading reviews, I purchased the next size up and glad I did. The quality of fabric is great! For reference, I’m 5’1” and 135lbs. Hope this helps with your purchase!

I am normally a size small I’m 5’4” 130 lbs. so I purchased a medium because of the bad sizing reviews. As you can see this vest is maxed out. Too tight!! The reviews are true it runs very small.

If I wear an L in most women’s clothes, so why is it the XL is teensy on me? Is it supposed to have a 6 inch gap in front?
I noticed on the tag it said S M L XL and XXL – and XL was marked. So, apparently O’Neill CAN sell one so not sure why with ALL these reviews saying it’s child sized they don’t make it available. I like the look as it matches my board and has the bright thing for when they need to find my body.
But it lack adjustable or even stretchy shoulder area. I think if it were lower then the part which would fit around the waist wouldn’t hit across the breasts. I even tried to hoist them up and … nope! And yeah, really short tho that is actually okay. PLEASE Amazon, get O’Neill to send you some XLs! O’d buy three.

I bought a size Small in black/turquoise/lime. The size chart says Small fits chests 30”-33” and I found that to be true. I’m roughly 33-25-36. Even a 34” might find this too tight because, for some reason, the top two chest straps have minimal fabric to be extended or tightened. It’s strange because the waist straps have much more length for customization. However, a life vest should be snug and not riding up off the shoulders (as seen in reviewers’ photos). That indicates the vest is too big and will likely push the wearer’s head forward/face first when in the water.
I’m only 5’2” and short waisted—I love the length! I could sit and paddle without it riding up. The arm holes seem wide enough to allow for movement and not cause friction.
Also, the colors are lighter in person than shown on my screens. But the vest seems well made. I like the ring st the bottom edge. I also like the fabric as nylon/polyester vests seem to stay cooler than neoprene. But all our other life vests have buoyancy level ratings between 50-150 to denote their appropriate use. Usually we use buoyancy level 70 for ocean kayaking/SUP. This doesn’t have any numbers so am debating returning for that reason.

Unfortunately, I listened to reviews about this being too small, and I ordered a medium. I’m 105 lbs and normally wear a small. I should’ve ordered a small.
The medium is way too large for me. I can’t tighten the straps because the life jacket would need to overlap itself to get them tightened.
Other than me ordering the wrong size, this life jacket is high quality, feels great, and is gorgeous. It’s very lightweight and has wide armholes so you can easily move around.
Wish I would’ve ordered true to size!
