The feel and action on this pedal is VERY similar to the Red Line Eliminator pedal (I have 3). The differences between the models in working are slight IMO, and personally, the fact that the pedal/beater does NOT swing back and forth 5-6 times (if you push the footboard down and let it go) from a “floating spring” on many “pro” pedals is a major PLUS.
The pedal does what your foot does, and the action is as fast or slow as your foot. IMO this help with your own timekeeping.
The pedal DOES have the adjustable footboard going forward an back for preferred feel, just like the higher cost pedals.
I can feel the pedal under my foot, the action is smooth, the footboard feels good, and it doesn’t do anything extra I don’t want.
Very much like a Ludwig Speed King, with a more solid feel under the foot.
I went with the RED cam version (I use the Red cam on the Red Line version), but it also comes in the Black, round cam model.
Also available in a double pedal, and if I had know this one was what I was looking for in a pedal (at any price) I wouldn’t have spent almost twice as much on the Red Line double pedal.

Put a heavier beater on it and change the rocker bearing and this will fly. The red cam is the best for sure. I’ve played eliminator for years and I’ve played all the other brands extensively. The eliminator is fast and light; with a heavier beater it hits plenty hard too.

This pedal is built very well. Smooth adjustability, a wide range of setup options, and very reactive. As a beginner, I thought my drum skills using the bass were flatlined. They were not. I just had a cheap pedal. Problem solved!!
