It’s tricky to set up for multiple sizes of bins. You really need to plan it out in advance, and you’ll probably still make a mistake if you haven’t done it before. A few extra horizontal rails would make it easier.
Installing the sheet metal screws that holds the rails was unnecessarily difficult because the rail holes are slightly undersized, possibly due to the powdercoating. This means that there’s a very high initial torque to start each screw. I’d recommend a hammer drill with a hex bit. An ordinary drill with hex bit will require help from your wrist. A flat screwdriver bit is probably impossible.
I installed the optional 30424 wheel kit. Even with the additional bracing in that kit the spine of the unit isn’t very strong in torsion. When you try to steer it on carpet it will twist instead of rolling, despite the large wheels.
The packaging mine arrived in was nearly destroyed. The box had turned into a loose bag of parts. On the plus side, the finish is so durable that it did not sustain any major scratches despite that abuse.

We use these in our technical college electronics labs to store components for modular equipment assemblies for labs. The caster kit makes this unit particularly useful because we don’t have a lot of storage space and can easily move the components around in the lab or to storage if necessary. Good stuff.

It goes together easier than expected. Pretty sturdy. My tools for the bolts were a 7/16 socket, a combo in 7/16 and a ratchet. For the many sheet-metal screws a speed wrench with a 3/8 socket. Everything fit together well.
The worst part is getting it. This is kitted in a single-wall box with little structure, I guess it looks good enough to ship bare but that’s a bad idea. It took three attempts to get it the the house and even the successful box was wrecked and fully open on one end.
Some shipping guidance from Akro Mills to their distributors would go a long way. Or maybe they could make the box ship-ready?

I am very happy with the materials and finish of this strong hanging system rack. I like the double-sided arrangement to be able to hang my bins off either side, both small and large. My box arrived with a hole in it missing the hardware assembly pack (bolts, screws, washers, nuts) and rather than going through a return to Amazon I gave Akro-Mils a quick call to see if I could get it from them for a nominal price. I sent over my purchase info and pictures with a description of what I needed and they sent it on over at no additional cost to me.
The cross bars are installed with metal screws so there is some effort to get all those attached. If you are not careful you can easily knock up a couple of knuckles on the heads of the screws (used small ratchets). But, a couple of band-aids later it was assembled and ready for the wheel-kit, purchased separately, Akro-Mils 30424 Powder Coated Steel Mobile Kit for 30016 or 30012 Double Sided Rail Hanging System.
I loaded up:

(12) 11″ x 11″ x 5″
(12) 11″ x 4″ x 4″
(12) 11″ x 5″ x 5″
(24) 5″ x 4″ x 3″
And, still have two levels on one side free (for the 5″ or less height bins).
I expect this thing to last forever.

Easy assembly – strong. You will need to add your own casters, but they are readily found locally.
