The loop is very large and not adjustable. It will work well for larger hands, but it is too loose for children and women with narrower fingers. As a result it does not stay in place and may be just another thing to juggle, which defeats the purpose of the design. The button is also awkward in that it must be pressed very deeply to get a click, and not good for fast timing. The volume of the click is a low medium. Much quieter than traditional box clickers if you have an animal that responds better to a softer marker.

I hated the ones that are on your wrist as you can’t do any tasks involving both hands and click when needed since you then have to grab it. This is great, I place it on middle finger and can spin it to outside of hand if I need to use both hands or grab something. Really nice for walks and reinforcing behavior “in the real world” without holding more stuff. The sound is lower and quieter which can be nice – in group classes my pup can tell the difference between his clicker and the others which keeps the sound valuable (he doesn’t associate other dogs getting clicks as an upcoming reward for himself). In the video I compared the sound to the generic clicker I got from Petsmart group class. Hope that helps!

Okay so I’ll be honest, I don’t use this dog clicker as it’s intended, I use it for creating a visual cue in my work as I’m a voice actor and have to edit certain lines certain ways, and this dog clicker has been the one consistent thing in my booth with every upgrade as it has a nice solid click, that creates a very distinctive waveform that I can easily spot throughout the sea of waveforms that is my voice lines. It’s comfortable to hold, and is simple to click, well as long as you’re holding it right, trying to click it when it’s sitting on a table or such isn’t exactly easy XD It’s small enough to not be in the way, but big enough I can get a good grip on it and not drop it when I’m trying to grab it quickly. And well of course the little finger band helps with that too, but I typically don’t hold it while recording so as to not risk wacking it on something in my booth if I get too theatrical. I’ve also had this clicker for a year and a half as of writing this, and despite being under near-constant use, it works just as well and is in just as good condition as when I first got it.

So the tldr is, great for voice actors, provides a solid waveform, fits well in my hand, and lasts excellently under prolonged use.

I thought it was broke at first but eventually found I had to really push very hard on the button to get it to click. My arthritic hand doesn’t like that. But it works and my cat caught on fast. I usually use a crinkle toy in my hand to make noise to get his attention before throwing a ball. This works great – each time I clicked it he looked up and was ready for the throw. Who says you can’t train a cat!!! Since having to push so hard on the button I found the strap useless. Overall it works.

I have a one year old bully mix and training her has been easier now that she listens for click and a command, then treat as a reward. Once command is learned, stop using clicker for that command. Then just say command and treat.

Great distinct sound, I’ve been training my cat and he’s doing great with consistency.

The package came with instructions on how to train which is good too.

Make sure you know how it clicks before training. Ei: Where to press on button

    Nice plastic, durable.

I put mine on a Keychain lanyard and haven’t lost it since it hangs up.

I obviously don’t have the same hearing as my dog, but comparing this to another clicker I have, this one is SOOOOOOOO LOW. I’m currently training my dog and need a good marker, this one isn’t it.
