I think overpriced for what it is, but it holds spray millet nicely, as opposed to bread twisties.

This is the best treat clip for birds ( or other small caged animals ) that I have come across.
The only caviat is it must be placed where you can reach it with both hands .. one inside and one outside the cage simultaneously. Squeezing the outside opens up the jaws on the inside for treat placement.

These work well on smaller cages with small wires and narrow spacing between bars (e.g. 1/2 inch) but don’t work at all on my cockatiel cage that is 5/8″ bar spacing and slightly larger bars (not sure of the exact diameter, but typical for medium sized birds). I’ve tried to modify them or ‘force’ the into position but they break on my cockatiel cage, work fine on my finch cage with tiny bars and narrower spacing. Someone really needs to make these clips for slightly larger cages since I need the for clipping in treats and vegetables!

Buy these low cost treat clips and you can easily replace fresh greens and treats for your pet. Your bird, (in my case a canary), will love you for them.
Such a great idea–low cost clips to hold the “treats” in place. For my canary, that’s apple, broccoli, kale, cauliflower–you name it.
Happy healthy bird that wants more than his beloved seed to supplement his diet :).

I’ve only got 1 budgie (@Qupid.The.Budgie) – So I use one of the two clips as a treat holder (spinach, apple slices, grapes etc – sprinkled with Spray Millet) and the other clip is used to hold up the sheet to cover Qupid’s cage. I leave a little gap so that Qupid’s night light can provide some light for him just in case he falls off a branch while sleeping. Great little clips that are perfect for my 1/2 inch bar width flight cage.

It’s a good clip and the price was ok but not as sturdy like I thought. The size will be perfect for smaller birds and smaller cages. It’s safe for small birds but I don’t think it’s good for large parrots and cages. I had to go to a pet store to get a larger one and more sturdy for my parrot. Wish they had a variety to choose from and the Apperance is normal for a clip.

If you have pet birds, you must have these clips! Use them for treats , for veggies and fruits! Sorry I didn’t buy more! I use them everyday.
