You can never have enough plugs it seems these days and with kids we liked the cleaner option of having it on the wall and not a typical surge protector. Also love the added USB plugs!
Amazon Customer –
Good grip on the wall which is rare these days as most tend to fall out at the slightest pull. Nice quality and serves it’s purpose. Worth every cent!

I love this plug-in. I have one in my office, my bedroom, my kitchen, and my livingroom. This thing works amazing and eliminates the constant need to unplug something to plug something else in and it cuts down on the amount of plug-ins I need and cords floating around.
Well worth the $$ and convenience. I definitely recommend.

These seem to be working so far. I notice they emit a faint but noticeable high pitched sound when plugged in. I hope that’s normal. Seems to happen with a lot of surge protectors.
By far the biggest problem here is the form factor. Why the rounded back? Not only is it the part of the unit you don’t see, it means it will never be stable. It rocks the entire outlet back and forth whenever I try to plug or unplug anything. Who approved this? It’s not a comforting feeling to have your electrical outlet move around like that. No other surge protector I’ve owned does this.
On the plus side, vinyl bumpers exist. I found applying four of them like in this picture increases the stability of the unit (depending on your outlet style this placement might not be ideal, the outlets here protrude slightly, YMMV). If you get this I recommend using these for stability. But it begs the question, why is it like this in the first place? It’s such a basic design flaw. Philips is a reputable brand. It makes no sense.

Perhaps a defective item but when I plug in my plant lights that have a timer the outlet extender emits a high pitched buzzing.

An angled extrusion oversteps the halfway point, preventing proper clearance for another adapter.

Me and my husband like most people have a lot of wires and chargers. Having this has been a lifesaver with all of our wires in our home. The surge protector is also an added bonus. Worth the money. Make sure you do the warranty!

The product functions perfectly, as advertised by Philips. All the reviews complaining about the sticker should be taken down, Philips has since rectified that packaging problem, or at the very least the 6 outlet/2usb port model does not have that issue.
I purchased two, and the one that I was able to insert into an outlet correctly works fine. Unfortunately, my apartment is slightly older, built in 1990. The GFCI outlet in the kitchen seemingly has the outlets themselves spread further apart than normal, as the grey support peg did not line up correctly with the bottom outlet’s ground hole. But, even after breaking it off and filing the nub down, it’s held strong with no issue whatsoever. It’s easy to blame the adapter for what could easily be the fault of an aged plug.
TL;DR, you get what is advertised, check your outlet spacing if it’s a GFCI outlet, and remember this is only rated for 900 Joules. Don’t expect this to protect much more than small electronics.

My house doesn’t have an adequate amount of outlets per room so I live off outlet extenders. They are not a one size fits all needs item, so I searched for the perfect one to use in my bathroom. I like to change my watch on the sink so I remember to put it back on in the morning and the USB ports allowed me to do that without taking up a traditional plug.

Needed something for air conditioner, baby monitor and white noise machine. Only have one outlet in the room and wanted to be without the long cord! Perfect!
