Does what a power strip supposed to do.

I know it’s just a basic surge protector, but it’s so perfect! The braided cord is really great quality, and the 10′ length allows me to get all my cords organized and in the right place.

Works fine for my use case. The only problem I ran into was mounting it on the wall. The opening is a bit small and I didn’t have any screws with a head small enough to fit the opening. Not a big deal just be aware that if you want to mount it the mounting holes are smaller than any other strip I’ve used.

Great value for money. Very sturdy and of high built quality!

Unlike most power strips, this one has its switch on the side rather than the top. Also unusually, it tapers towards the base, and the base has rounded corners, which gives the strip a tendency to tip over onto its side when things are plugged into it. These two design decisions combine to create a power strip that tends to turn itself off frequently.
I’m not sure why Philips decided to do this; power strip design is more or less a solved problem. I have three other power strips in my home, all of different brands, and they all have the same rectangular shape with the switch on top. I suppose if you planned to wall-mount it, the tendency to tip wouldn’t be an issue, but the design doesn’t provide any advantage for wall-mounting either, and indeed I think the side switch would still be more awkward to use than the typical top/front switch.
It is a fairly sturdy power strip, but I don’t see any reason to buy it over the many power strips with similar specs, none of which have these issues and some of which are cheaper.

I have limited outlets so I have purchased multiples of this power strip. Works great, I did not need or want USB outlets, and this was a fair price for a quality product. I feel like my electronics are secure!

This surge protector is well made. Long cord. There is a switch on it that you can’t see in the pictures. Highly recommended
