I, like a lot of people who bought this, read the NYT Wirecutter and wanted something on a budget that would at least help cars see me better at night. At this price point, I expected it to just be about visibility instead of being able to see. But I am happy to report that this is a lot more useful than expected for the price. You could find lights that last longer, are brighter, and even lights that are way easier to mount. But to have a light that lasts enough to get you home, is bright enough to be seen from down a block or two and to see about halfway down that block, and with incredibly adjustable mounting options you cannot go wrong with this set of lights.

Loved the brightness and flashing/steady options of the headlight. Lasts for a few rides (5-6 hours) before needing charging. The tail light is quite bright but with a lower battery life. Both are rechargeable, which is nice. Quite easy to mount and stable.

I have been riding this on an e bike on mostly city streets and bike path since I purchased it. The Rojo tail light never seems to run out of life- I have charged it like two times in two months. My commute is about 10 miles to work and I only really use the tail light when I ride at night as my e bike does have a mounted tail light. The Beamer 700 is perfect as a second light to really hit some busy city streets close to my office. I tend to just run it in the high mode and use it when needed to really see. I found myself using it a bunch this last week as our days got way shorter and it was nice to roll out of work, on a fairly busy section of my commute, and really feel the light perform. The mount is nice and sits well on my handlebars. This seems to be a great lightset to add extra lights to my e bike commuter. Very happy with it!
