It’s nice, has a handy pull out tray & a flip up lid within the lid. Plenty of room for storage. It’s water resistant but not water proof. I would put everything in ziplock bags 1st then in this box if it was going boating. That’s why it only gets 4 stars.

This makes a real nice toolbox for the boat. Tough plastic with a tough latch. Waterproof with O ring seal.The lid hinges can come apart so the lid will come off if you need it. I like it.

Good quality, and high visibility color makes it easy to keep track of. I have mine filled with fishing gear and it does the job. Could be used for tons of things from hunting gear, tools, fishing gear, camping equipment, and whatever you can think of. Good dry storage that can be exposed to the elements without damaging your gear.

色は真っ赤というよりも朱色っぽい感じです。
ヒンジや留め具などの機能面は問題ありません。
ただ個体差なのかもしれませんが、写真のように各部の角にあるバリが目立ちます。
また角が鋭利になっているため、当たると痛いです。
特にフタについている小物入れは硬くて開けづらく、勢いで鋭利な角の部分に当たってしまいます。

Purchased as a carry-all for my handgun accessories. I keep my cleaning accessories in the top access mini compartment. Ammo and speed loader on the tray and earmuffs with misc other things in the bottom. Very sturdy, lockable! Just what I was looking for. Even fully loaded there is no worry that the handle will come off or that it might open at any time. Love the oring seal.

I bought this to add to my collection of similar boxes, since it matches the color of my main kayak. It’s perfect for holding a bunch of items I want close by while on the water, while protecting the contents from splashing and entry/exits. Extremely handy to carry all sorts of stuff while not taking up too much room, it immediately became the box I use for storing all my boat registration papers, emergency tools, and bug spray- along with a ton of other goodies like my wallet and keys. The top compartment’s not 100% waterproof but it’s still handy for a bottle opener, emergency whistle, and stuff that won’t mind getting a little moisture on it. Makes the perfect emergency kit for boats and vehicles at a very good price!

Fantastic fishing & what ever box. I just bought several more for a medical kit and another for my car stuff. I have been using two of these for my surf fishing rig for a number of years. There is several different sizes made by Plano so look around for what fits you needs . As far as fishing goes I keep my fishing sinkers in the top compartment (it is part of the lid). This is great for keeping dirty items separated from other items that you don’t want messed up. These are not submersible water proof but they are fantastic when it is raining or around the sea. To tell you how good they are, I rinse off my sinkers by just opening the compartment in the lid and rinsing my sinkers off with a high pressure hose. I have never had items get wet in the main compartment. I have also fished with them when it is pouring rain and my items where high and dry. For the money they are a steal. By the way they are made in USA.

I bought this to insert into a ocean kayak, but it is too tall. A very nice box though with a flip up compartment on top for quick access, a removable tray and plenty of room for a few hand tools. I am happy to keep and use for for tools and parts.
I ended up with a smaller Plano box for the kayak.

Nicely sized and waterproof, the bright orange color also makes it very easy to spot when your friend decides to forget it in the middle of the woods. The tray is fairly nice, although I find it gets in the way a bit for me, but you can always remove it if you don’t need it.
Not much else to say about it, if you’re looking for a nice and secure, mid sized storage case that’s water resistance, this is what you want to get!
