Package arrived with wrong connectors. Wont fit and look very different from picture in directions. Its useless and very heavy to return. Two other small square plates also missing.

Its Up!!! I tried to assemble this heavy duty set of metal shelves by myself. It surely couldn’t be very difficult. It wasn’t difficult, it was heavy. It is heavy. This is a heavy duty, heavy to pick up set of shelves intended to hold heavy things in a workshop or garage. It does hold heavy things too.
I managed to unbox the shelves, and get everything arranged on the floor and then was unable to go any further in the assembly process. I got a couple of the older boys to help me. This resulted in me being relegated to an arm chair and put in charge of refreshments for the assembly crew.
Those boys had the shelves together before I could go to the kitchen and return with two pitchers of sweet tea and two platters of muffins. . The boys set the shelf in the canning kitchen for me and then put the heavy caners on the bottom and middle shelves.
The top shelf holds Extra weights, racks, tools. I am very pleased with my new heavy duty metal canning shelves holding my old heavy duty pressure caners and their extra parts.
I chose to use the shelf to hold my caners, I have a Large family. I preserve foods during the harvest seasons and preserve much of it to be enjoyed later in the year. This shelf is an important piece in the food processing done to feed us year round.
I am very happy with them. I recommend them highly for anyone who wants, needs heavy duty high quality metal shelves for any reason. These are excellent quality heavy duty shelves that will hold a lot of weight, be it mechanical tools, construction or wood working tools or kitchen tools.

I’m using this in the garage to organize and store various things. I have my doubts about the load capacity of the shelves, but they can certainly support a good deal of weight per shelf. I still give 5 stars as I didn’t fully trust the load capacity claim from the beginning.

The instructions state to brace it to the wall, and provide some things to do so, but I decided not to as the baseboards prevent the shelf from getting close enough to do so. It is sturdy enough standing free, however it will indeed wobble a bit if you apply force to it.

There are 8 braces that slide into place on the left and right sides between shelves. They are a bit too loose for my liking, but they should be fine as long as they aren’t messed with too much.

As for the instructions, they were a bit messy. Spaces missing between some words, a couple of misspelled words. That sort of thing. My biggest issue was making heads or tails of the pictures, though, as they were quite small and I was stuck wondering for a bit which pieces were which.

That said, once I understood what pieces were what, and what it was trying to tell me to do, installation was very simple–though it was slightly annoying as I put it together on my own instead of having another person assist me as is recommended.

All in all, they’re nice shelves. I might buy another set someday if I end up needing one.

I ordered this item without looking at the reviews. After ordering it I decided to look at the reviews and it made me super nervous because some people were saying that it was smaller than the they imagined?? I am here to tell you that this is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the 5 shelf variation is about 6 feet tall. The package comes with a guide on how to put the unit together and the tools necessary to do so (came with a little rubber mallet lol). Overall I am very satisfied with the shelf unit and would recommend for anyone looking to buy one.
