I bought this tiny pressure cooker from Prestige in September 2022 – a brand I grew up with – so expected similar quality.
However, within 3/4 months the steam keeps leaking as whatever is supposed to hold the pressure inside has conked off ….. without the pressure it’s no more a pressure cooker.
Sad, but I will have to toss this off as I am not going to keep it just because it’s a cute size.

I cooked chicken thighs in the cooker twice. Although I expected to hear a rattle to indicate it had come to pressure, I assumed that the hissing noise was an indication that it had. Food cooked as expected. I used it today and this time steam came out of hole on the side of the lid instead of the little thingy on the top where the hissing would have come from. At the end of cooking time, the meat was done but a significant loss of water confirmed that the meat was boiled and not pressure cooked. I am within the return window but I threw the box out so I will donate the pot to charity.

Safety valve is damaged exactly after a month and now I can’t even return it. I use it 3 times a week and never even used dishwasher to wash it. Still it got damaged.

El único pero y no se si es falta de conocimiento mío pero seria bueno indicarlo en la descripción es que estaba buscando una olla de 3 lts y así viene en la descripción de la publicación y en la descripción del producto e incluso en el grabado de la olla pero en realidad solo le caben hasta 2 lts de agua. por lo cual fue demasiado pequeña para lo que necesitaba y devolví el producto.
Pero debo remarcar que es de muy buena calidad.

This little pressure cooker is just perfect for small households with 1–2 people. Cooking a meal with it reduces cooking time for most items to 5 to 25 minutes (5 for vegetables) and 25 for (frozen) meats. Instead of spending hours cooking I can usually prepare a meal in no more than 25 minutes. Of course this really reflects on the electric bill, too. This item pays for itself.

I used to have instapot. Instapot is good in so many ways; However, this pressure cooker with whistle is way simpler to use. It cooks quicker too. Easy to use, easy to clean, can carry places too.

I don’t usually give one star review, but this one really blown me off.
My first impression of this product is the poor build quality. They bottom of the cooker is as thin as the side of it, and it is not even very flat. It means it will not work very well with rangers. Actually the whole cooker looks the same as I am a kid, when high pressure cooker just came out, without any modern improvement in quality or secure features. It don’t even have pressure lock!
First couple times of use immediately show the crons of its old school design. The top thing that used to maintain pressure doesn’t have control of how fast air are released when pressure gets high. Do when it comes to blow, it bursts really hard, and really loud. That is so powerful that the inner pressure drop too suddenly and lead to inside liquid start to boil hard, and end up leak out together with the air. As result, it makes total mess after every use, just as it is shown in the pic upload by another buyer. I end up need it to put towels around it to suck up the leaked water every time.
Moreover, it does not even last. I had it for just 3 weeks, used every other day, and it had been broken. Today when I used it to cook some rice soup again, it suddenly start to spray out like a fountain from a hole on its lid. The water was high enough to wet my ceiling very good. I was not sure if the hole was already there but had sth in before but get pushed out, or it was made by the pressure air. I can’t find it from the pictures of the product though. But anyway, I don’t what to risk my life to give it a try again. Lucky this time the boiling water did not hurt anyone, but who know what could happen next.
For a pressure cooker, safety is the most important feature, but this cooker was not really providing it. Thus, instant return.
