Prospek Blue Light Glasses

As a graduate student and instructor, I spend a very, very large portion of my day working at my laptop and staring at screens. I don’t wear glasses for sight, but my eyes are very sensitive to indoor light and sunlight. When I started grad school 4 years ago, I remember going home with headaches behind my eyes basically every single day, but for some reason I never thought about what could be done (aside from some aspirin).

Ordered these glasses with some skepticism, and I’ve only had them a week or so, but I am extremely pleased with them. I really didn’t think I’d notice much of a difference, especially at first, but it’s like they eliminated this head/eye pain that I wasn’t even aware I had anymore. I didn’t actually realize how much my eyes “strained” until I started wearing them. Even within the first few hours, I was like “wow…my eyes feel relaxed and I didn’t know that was a thing.” I started wearing them at night as well, since I usually am either on a laptop, my phone, or watching TV before bed (I know, that’s bad, but sometimes it’s unavoidable). I don’t know that it necessarily made me sleep better, but no headaches!

They come with a pretty sturdy case, and a good wipe to clean them with. I have a pretty small head/face, and while they look a little “big” for my face, they don’t feel big and they don’t slide off. Plus, the point is to eliminate some light – why would I want small frames for that? They do not look yellow when you wear them, which is a plus for me. I’ll update if I have any complaints, but for now – these definitely upped my quality of life, and as a grad student, I’ll take anything I can get.

I’ve tried a ton of blue light glasses and none help as much as Prospek glasses!!

As a writer, I spend a lot of time on screen. I was suffering greatly from the effects of dry eye syndrome. These glasses have made a huge difference.

I bought these and a cheaper(<$20) pair of computer glasses to compare. These glasses have really blown me away. I don't wear contacts or glasses usually, but I spend more time now in front of screens than I used to, and I wanted to see if I could use the blue light filter to see if it would help me sleep better or have less eye strain. All the other glasses I had were highly visible in my vision field, didn't seem to filter very much, and were generally uncomfortable hard plastic.
These glasses are very flexible. they appear black while wearing them but have this really cute purple detail on the inside when you take them off. There is a slight yellow tint to the lens, but I think that’s indicative of the filtering ability. They also work really excellently against UV rays, I’ve accidentally worn them outside and thought they were sunglasses several times. It’s very easy to forget I’m wearing these, and I’m not accustomed to wearing glasses at all. Very flexible frame, doesn’t slide around and doesn’t dig into my head. after several hours the arms feel heavy on my ears, but I just rest the arms on my hair usually and that’s enough relief (I imagine this is normal for glasses wearers). They are very hard to smudge, stay pretty clean, block glare, UV and blue light and the cat eye shape isn’t TOO sharp. looks cute without making me look like a 70s sitcom extra. Usually don’t post photos but I really love how these glasses look on me!

Initially I was wanting Prospek glasses for kids but it wasn’t available. I purchased the ones for an adult, there is an option for choosing different sizes, so I went with XS Adult. It fits my 10 and 8 yr. old well, a little uncomfortable for my 6 yr. old as it is loose on him. The glasses itself are a nice style, durable and it does provide a great yellow tint to protect from blue light. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought these glasses specifically to block harmful blue light from the computer which I’m on all day for my job and personal use. So anywhere between a couple hours to 12 hours a day. Over the past few years I’ve been getting dry eyes, headaches and blurred vision, though if I would stay off the computer for several days things returned to normal. I don’t wear glasses normally. These particular glasses are stylish and comfortable. After only a few days of wearing them while using the computer, I had less eye strain and headaches. There is a slight amber (yellowish tint) to the glasses, but it’s only slightly noticeable and similar to if you use something like f.lux or nightshade on your computer/phone. It’s actually kind of nice and brightens things up. These are a little big on me since I have a very thin face, but I only wear them working from home so not a problem. But I would also feel fine wearing them in an office setting. My only slight ding is that they are a bit heavier/tighter than say the Dynamic model (which I actually bought first and returned for these). But can be adjusted and I’ve gotten used to them with no complaints. Overall great product, nice storage case, great price. No (noticeable) magnification.
