My pump filter died 6 weeks new and i was panicked for my fish who getting no air. Marineland discontinued their pump and it was in stock nowhere! I took a chance and ordered this pump for overnight delivery and its perfect. Fish survived overnight, so we are all happy!

I had to replace a water pump for a fountain I bought
14 yrs ago. It is a little boy and girl at a fountain, the boy helping the girl reach up to get a drink. I put it together and attached it to the fountain, it’s as good as new. Runs just as quiet just as the last one. Great for the price, the size fit perfectly – it’s a small space it had to fit into. I bought the fountain for a
Father’s Day gift. He passed away a few years ago. This is a great memory and I had to get it working.

We bought a pet fountain intended to give our pups the idea they have fresh water 24/7. We LOVE it, but the pump failed within 3 months. We bought this replacement pump, and it pumps better than the original one! I will be buying another of this same one should anything happen to it!

I bought this pump to auto fill my airoponics garden. It worked well for the first week. Unfortunately the pump did not last long. The direction do say not to run with out water. However even with water still covering the pump it wasn’t sufficient to keep it alive. Keep this in mind for your application.

So I bought this because my 11.4 gallon reef tank(has 1 clown, 3 crabs, 40+ snails, 2 hermits, 1 frogspawn coral with a new growing head, hammer coral, 6+ heads of duncan coral, acropora, 4 mushrooms, 1 digita, stylopora, poccilapora, 10+ zoanthids, leather coral and probably way more) and this what cheap and looked small and powerful! sadly for me, a bit too powerful :(, BUT!!!! you can adjust the flow level! from strong, to weak! This pump was really good and nice for its price!

We bought this to use for our kids’ water table so there would be a constant flow of water. It does the trick! Depending on what you / the kids like, it might not be powerful enough and move enough water at once, but for toddlers it works. Definitely way better than manually pumping the water!

Wrote a review for my fountain and thought this info would be good for someone looking for the power of this pump or how to build a terrarium with this pump. Just copied and pasted, that’s why the wording is more towards the fountain. Hope this helps! Also I have this pump set on the medium setting, which is perfect. I noticed no noise from the pump itself. My tank size is 12x12x24 and this pump works perfect with perfect flow of water that I was looking for.
Built a bioactive terrarium/vivarium for my crested rainforest gecko. Wanted a fountain to cycle the water through the substrate and also act as a water dish for my little guy. This was perfect. I installed a 95 GPH pump in the substrate so it would have enough power to give it a 2.5 foot lift (I doubt the pump it came with would have the power for what I needed). I was able to connect the tubing of my pump to the original tubing of the fountain so aesthetically it would appear to function how it was designed with the water coming out and flowing how it is shown. Setting it up with the higher powered pump allows the water in the substrate to get filtered all the way through the system to clean and maintain the water, while allowing it to flow out of the front of the fountain so I don’t have to ever clean my gecko’s “water dish”. It also maintains the humidity of my tank and waters my plants. I took netting and wrapped a ball of small rocks. I placed the ball directly under the front of the fountain going out a few inches. Then I put a small layer of soil over them and covered it with a plant that likes to be continually wet. The rocks allow the water to flow through without soaking the surrounding soil so that my other plants don’t get overwatered.
I hope all of this makes sense because this is the kind of info I was looking for when I was trying to figure out how to build my vivarium.
I really like that this fountain looks very natural while also having the small “pond” at the bottom. I found it to be the perfect size for my tank which is 12x12x24. It’s pretty quiet, a small tinkling like you are somewhat close to a small stream. With my tank door closed I can hardly hear it. If you are looking for a fountain for your tank, this is perfect in appearance and function! This pump functioned exactly as I was hoping it would! I can’t imagine how many pounds it is buried under and it pumps like it’s was made for that kind of pressure. Last pics shows all the weight the pump is under and how it still works great under all that.

I used this in my dart frog tank for a small waterfall and stream, it’s not loud, it’s runs great and didn’t need to be submerged a ton, which is great for my purpose. My only real complaint is the tubbing is very flimsy and was hard to put it on the pump, I tried doing the lighter trick like I have done on other pump tubing but this just caught fire and melted in seconds.
