It worked for about a year and I sent it back twice for warranty replacement and I keep getting non working units back.

Product that was received is a SD-MDVR SW-0001A which can be purchased around $70. The rear of the unit is nothing like the pictures in the product page. I spent over $100 on this when it’s really just a $70 product with the PYLE brand on it? Take a peek at the Better Business Bureau page for more details.

does not go well with the camera system and no useful information as to which monitor & camera to use. the customer service to Pyle is a joke….

The unit was difficult to set up but works great once it’s set up. I purchased this as a suggestion from Amazon after finding out the screen with 4 cameras actually did not record anything without a black box! Unfortunately, it only has a VCA out and did not work well with the screen I purchased. I literally had to splice wires together to split the camera signals. I also had to use an old dashcam with a second camera in Port in order to set this up but any VCA compatible screen will work just fine. Just remember, you will need 1-4 compatible cameras AND a screen to set this up so it’s not for beginners!

No power connector only wires. Could not get it to work. Seems very outdated. Good idea tho.
