The shelves are a little thinner than I expected, but worked just fine. Everything fit correctly and it went together fast. Not for humid areas as I think the shelves would warp. Would buy again if I need another.

The following will read ; 1. How I perceived when reading reviews, 2. My experience, 3. Some minor negatives
1. When I first was purchasing this product, the reviews gave me mixed feelings. Some good reviews, and some nay sayers
2. I enjoy the product. Maybe one of those “you get what you paid for”. It was relatively easy to assemble and fast (15-30 min) compared to other products. The bottom part is the most challenging to assemble. I can see how some nay sayers could have encountered some problems like; A. Not hitting down the holes properly or B. Bending one of these fragile pieces bc you added your weight unevenly.
3. Some cons were A. The rubber foot pads a little challenging to install bc piece didn’t fit properly or B. Need for two people to facilitate building the product
SN: you don’t need the 4 connectors if you decide to do two separate shelves.

This product is absolutely perfect. The only thing I have to say is that it’s pretty sturdy but it’s difficult to keep together when moving. But it’s holding up with all of my stuff at the moment! So 8/10!

Solid shelves, but be careful about assembly. They give a small hammer on purpose. I used normal metal hammer and it bent a portion. Not end of world as I don’t plan on heavy items to be placed on it. Some complain its flimsy. Its not. There are much heavier shelving out there which should hold twice the weight but hold less. If you want to store barbells on something, expect to pay double! use product wisely.

I suppose if you loaded these shelves with 2500 pounds of evenly distributed weight they would not collapse, but the steel is light duty, the shelves are wobbly when assembled, and I would not advertise these as heavy duty shelves. These are inexpensive light duty shelves, suitable for light boxes. The shelving material is thin pressboard, but with the center support they are reasonably strong enough for light stuff. We had trouble with the snap together bracing wanting to pop out for some reason, even after hammering them down as instructed, with weight on the shelves this may not be an issue.

I never write reviews, but this one I had to. For over $200 for 3 pieces, they are not worth the money. I bent 2 of the side pieces by hand trying to get them into the slots. By Hand and i’m not a super strong woman. So they are not heavy duty at all. I’m sure the seller is a nice person, but these are just not worth the money. They are fine if you don’t have anything heavy to put on them, but if you are using them for heavy items, I would have gone back to my local box store and purchased the actual heavy duty metal shelves that have the thick wood for shelves. These shelves are like thin particle board with what is the weakest metal i’ve ever seen for a shelving unit. I’m a chocolatier with heavy ingredients and I will not use these shelves for any food storage. Ill use them for my empty candy boxes and other light weight items. I hate to leave a bad review for the product, but honestly, I wouldn’t waste my money.

I’ve got about 1000 Lego sets stored in my basement, I keep on buying new ones, and my shelving needs keep growing. I just redid the entire basement with some new shelving units similar to this, and while they work fine, and hold everything without issue, they were more cheaply made. I may have saved 5 or 10 bucks per 5 shelf set, and you could tell the difference trying to get the shelving suports in their little tabs.
THESE, on the other hand, are MUCH easier to assemble. None of this tab into slot junk. Their assembly process is so much easier and quicker. I had one of these done in half the time the same sized other set took me, simply due to the ease of placing the supports and thumping them in place with my rubber mallet.
I only needed one of these, and I had assembled it, not as a single 5 shelf unit, but two units, with 2 shelves and 3 shelves respectively, and came back upstairs to write my review, and saw they’re on a 13% discount. I don’t really NEED more right now, but I bought two more sets anyway while they were on sale, since I know at SOME point I’m going to want more shelves again. May as well get these while they’re costing less.
Definitely will be my go-to for inexpensive shelving moving forward.

Saw that these shelves were stated at Heavy Duty for a cheap price.
Unfortunately they are not heavy duty, more like a light duty shelving unit.
If not careful you can accidentally warp the metal supports, the wood slabs are thin and the stability is a bit questionable, but since I bought two, I connected them into an “L” shape using the connector pins and it is holding up well, probably have a few hundred pounds on them spaced out among the shelves.
So while not heavy duty, they still did what I wanted them for and are still holding up after storing some heavy items on them for about a month straight.
So I would purchase some more if I ever need some again, they were extremely easy to put together, about 20 minutes for both and that includes connecting them together with the pins.
