Used this on a 550 miles solo ride across nebraska. Loved it. Easy mount and very helpful.
Inoj –
Hard to focus since the mirror is so tiny and close to your eye. Caused me headaches.

I’ve had experience with five very similar products, as I’ve used a helmet-mounted mirror for years.
This one is on the TOP of the charts as far as installation. The band-based system is solid, and I can tell it will last for years.
But the mirror is USELESS. It’s hard to tell whether a vehicle is even approaching, let alone anything about speed or direction. I bought because I assumed that other reviewers with this same complaint had simply forgotten to remove the protective film. Not so. I removed the protective film immediately and have never touched the mirror’s surface. The fuzziness is in the mirror optics.

I ride to work every day. It’s not far but it’s very nice to be able to see behind me. Most of the time I can hear a car but it’s nice to see it from a distance before I can hear it. It does mover around a lot while riding and it’s a pain to keep moving it when take your helmet off but that’s just part of it. Overall I’m pleased.

I installed this mirror on my helmet and really liked the mounting design compared to my last one which was double sided tape.
However when I’d be riding and try to look back, it was hard for me to focus and I found the mirror to be useless.
Some time went by and I figured I’m just getting older and my vision is worsening.
Then yesterday I went on a long ride and was frustrated at how I couldn’t focus on the mirror and I decided to look up reviews. Others were complaining about how hard it was to focus as well! It wasn’t just me! The no I read about a guy that popped the concave lens off and replaced with a flat 1.5 inch round mirror. I ordered a pack of 1.5 inch lenses, received them and after trying out he flat lense, I can see behind me again!! Big thanks to the other reviewer for that advice! Photo shows the mirror flat vs concave. Flat on left concave on right.

I tried this mirror for 100 miles and it did not work for me. The convex profile is too much. Hard to see anything behind me. I would not recommend.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this mirror.
I like the mounting system: instead of clipping on, it uses a rubber strap to mount securely through slots in the helmet. The mirror itself is much easier to position than others I have used. The item seems well-made, and I was initially impressed with it.
I wondered, though, why the mirror is mounted on such a long rod. The answer is that the convex mirror has a focal point, and it has to be extended far in front of the helmet to give a sharp image. When positioned near the end of the visor for easier viewing, it gives a fuzzy image.
Initially, I liked the idea of the convex mirror because of its wider field of view. But this mirror has so much curvature that it makes a car that is almost right on your tail look many yards distant. Like “objects in mirror are closer than they appear” on a car side mirror, only more so. Maybe this can be adjusted to–basically you have to realize that ANY car you can see is close enough to be a hazard–but this item would be better with a flat and slightly larger mirror.
The distance the mirror has to be from your head makes it hard to see, and the curvature makes it difficult to safely determine where the traffic is, so this mirror is on balance not a good choice.

Update…
I have been contacted and the sincerity of this company to fix the problem has impressed me. So i will move my rating up based on that alone.
At first, thought it would be perfect. But after attached to my helmet on first ride the mirror cracked by end of ride it fell off. So had to return it for refund
