These work exactly as described. They were easy to install for someone who is NOT a handyman. I wish there was a better method for tightening the strap after they are installed; it’s hard to get your hands back there behind the bookshelf/desk/whatever to pull on the strap. Other than that, these definitely did the trick. I can put my body weight (215 lbs) into trying to pull these off and they don’t budge.

This product was super easy to install and has since worked!! My daughter did as I suspected she might – pulled out the drawers on her dresser and it started to tip over. We did use on strap on each side of the dresser as it is a shorter but long dresser and screwed it into the studs in the wall. I will be using the additional straps on some of the other dressers in our home.

Two features I really like about these straps: 1) they are adjustable after you attach them to the wall and furniture, so that you can get them tightened up nicely. 2) They can be unclipped without unscrewing everything – I have two places in the house where I sometimes need to move furniture to get to cords behind them. Unlike single piece straps, I can unhook these straps temporarily.

My daughter in law wanted something to keep my near to be walking granddaughter from pulling their tables over on her as she’s starting to pull up. This was easy to apply and seems to work well, just attach to the wall and table, very sturdy.

I see most people that have given this 1 or 2 stars complaining about the screws but why is no one mentioning the glaring problem of the adjustable straps? Each tether is technically 2 pieces. One attaches to the wall and the other attaches to the furniture than they hook together with a nylon strap and big metal hook. This set up i feel is great and sturdy. But then the nylon strap can be adjusted by pulling it tighter or looser through the furniture attached piece. Well after you pull it tight there is nothing to secure it at that tight position and it easily slides right back out to the loose position. There is no friction or tension or anything. So basically the piece of furniture could fall a pretty long way as the strap pulls out to its full loose position before stopping and when it does stop all the force of that stop will not be on the metal part or the two screwed in brackets, all the force will be on the tiny little sewed knob at the end of the nylon strap. Perhaps I got a defective set but I ordered 4 packages and this is a problem in all of them. I followed the directions in the package and when that didnt work I watched youtube videos, read reviews here and tried some different things just by myself but no matter what I did the adjustable strap doesnt stay tightly adjusted it always slips out to the loosest position. I will be returning these worthless things and find some other way to secure our furniture.

I like that the straps come apart to move furniture. I don’t like how easy the straps slip through the bucket, allowing the furniture to start tipping before it catches, resulting in anything on top still falling.

These wall straps seem to do their job well, as they securely attach furniture to the wall. They installed easily enough, and I didn’t have any problem with how well they work.
I have a problem with how they arrived and a seeming issue with quality control. This product arrives as 4 separate packages, each containing 2 straps. Every one of the 4 packages was open. Two of them were only partially opened, and the other 2 were completely opened. In addition, the screws were problematic. Not all of the screws matched, and 1 of them was totally unusable (the indentation where you would stick the screw driver head was filled in, so you couldn’t use a screw driver with it). We had extra screws on hand, so we solved the problem, but we shouldn’t have to find our own.

These have worked out great for us so far.
Definitely you need a drill bit and you need to drill holes into your studs before you attempt to bolt these to the wall or furniture. One time I didn’t drill the hole far enough into the stud beforehand, so the screw head got stripped out when I tried to screw in the regular screw.
Otherwise they seem pretty great. They are plastic but seem sturdy enough when the straps are taught between the furniture and wall

We have a new baby, and live in Souther California – earthquake central so I wanted something that secures my furniture to the wall. The most important thing for me was to prevent the tipping over of a dresser and a large Ikea unit. I do have to complain about the screws, they are absolutely terrible and will strip very very easily. My suggestion is get rid of these screws, replace them with standard wood screws because even with pilot holes – they strip.
Once I used by own hardware, installation was a breeze and and I feel very comfortable with the straps secured to the studs and to the units.

Easy to install with clear instructions. I especially like that you can unhook the straps easily if you need to move the furniture for cleaning or whatever reason.

work as advertised.
