All metal, heavy and comes with all the bolts needed for various TV’s. Easy to assemble. Will need 2 people to put larger TV’s on the rails. Comes with a metric wrench but you will need a phillips screw driver for the Rail locking screws. Worth the money.

There are cheaper stands you can buy, one of which I have for a smaller tv. But I wanted something more solid for my higher end tv. You get what you pay for. This one feels more solid with a heavier base, even though it’s metal, unlike other brands that use glass.
My only quibble is the swivel is looser than I’d want, which could lead to accidental over swinging of your tv.

I used this product in my room for my room tv to replace my original tv stand. This was easy to install took less time then I thought and works great a lot more sturdier and swivels.

This was bought for a new 55” Samsung UHD television. The stand goes together easily. It does take two sets of hands to mount the television to the stand after assembly. The stand comes with mounting bolts for almost any television imaginable. However, even though the company’s website listed this TV as compatible, the correct mounting bolts were not in the package. I called the company. They acknowledged the problem and shipped the correct bolts. A quick trip to the hardware store resolved the problem before the replacement bolts arrived. I am very happy with the stand.

I purchased the Sanus VSTV1 Large TV Swivel Pedestal Stand to support a 43″ Samsung TV. Even though the package contained a variety of screws to secure the required hardware to the back of a variety of TV sets, it did not have the size needed for the 43″ Samsung. I had to go to the local hardware store to purchase four metric M8 x 25mm screws to complete the assembly of the VSTV1 stand. Other than that issue, I am satisfied with the VSTV1. It is a very solid device and well-manufactured. The 43″ TV is mounted very securely on the stand and is very stable.

Sanus previously had a Sanus – Premium Series Swivel TV Base for Most TV’s 32″-60″ up to 60 lbs – Black Model #BSTV1-B1 that look & fitted by 32″ kitchen TV ideally where the top mounting bracket did NOT protrude over the top of the TV like it does on my bedroom TV. That model was no longer available (in clearance) so I couldn’t order it & selected the next best. I will have to live with the 2 protruding brackets that extends over the top of my bedroom TV. Now I see the swivel TV base I really wanted is now available through EBay–too late, when I couldn’t find it anywhere at the time I was looking.OH WELL, that’s life.

My husband put this together and said it was quite easy to assemble. It is sturdy, stable, and swivels easily. It is brand new, so we haven’t had a chance to use it, but at this point, we see absolutely no problems with it.
