I have a cheap bass I needed to fix to lend to a friend who wants to learn. The pots on it had gotten damaged somehow in storage so I wanted an easy way to swap out. As near as I can tell this harness kit is 100% identical to the one I removed from an early 2000’s Samick Corsair bass.
All I had to do was solder the pickups and ground wire to it and then pop them into the pickguard and the bass came right back to life. Is it the highest grade stuff? Certainly doesn’t feel that way. Does it work? 100%.
Took about 5 minutes to do the swap, most of which was removing pickguard screws.

It’s all good. This irem arrived on time. I wired it into the bass guitar. It now works and sounds better than it ever has.

This was an upgrade for my Chinese bass. The wiring was correct so it was just a matter of soldering in the pickups and dropping them in place. A definite improvement especially in the tone pot. The stock pot was more of an on off while these give a nice smooth transition of tone control. Great price & value.

I read the reviews and bought this prewired wiring harness for my Jazz bass. The previous reviews are correct, the volume pot yellow wire for the bridge pickup is is in the wrong place. I must be moved to the outside lug #3, and not on the middle lug where the manufacturer has placed it.
I am not sure why they did this, but it would not work for my Jazz bass pickups, until I moved it.
These are decent pots for the money, no hiss or scratches, nice even roll off for volume and tone.
I have included a drawing for a Jazz pickup wiring, so you can see if the wiring on yours is correct or not.

First off the wiring diagram was wrong so i looked up the proper diagram online, second every solder joint brook because the wire was just crap so after getting tired of soldering them over and over again i finally gave up and replaced all of the wire and resoldered them but even after that they didn’t sound very good anyway so i’m just going to start over with something better
