I really like this backpack. Makes going to the pool very streamlined. The bottom compartment is not 100% water proof. When I had real ice in it and the bag was sideways/upside down it leaked a little, which is not a huge deal out in the sun, but not ideal. What I do think makes up for it is they give you so many reusable ice packs that you can just freeze those and use them instead of ice and that works just fine. I left my backpack in my boiling hot car for 3 days after the pool and the beer and ice packs were still pretty cold/cool to the touch, so that impresses me.
Other pockets and compartments are great. top “cooler” was good for keeping my phone/sunscreen out of the sun. My large water bottle and sunscreen fit in the side pouches. Straps are comfy and adjustable.

bought this for the indy 500 and was incredibly pleased with it. i overpacked in terms of food, bc of course, and it was not at all too heavy or unwieldy, and that’s including walking 8+ miles on the day and climbing up and down an entire grandstand twice! the ice packs were very convenient, and all my goodies stayed appropriately cold, with no leakage. i also found myself sitting next to someone who had the same cooler in a different color, and was about 3 rows up from a 3rd person with a different color combo. a popular choice, and i can see why – great value, great product!

I was very satisfied with this bag at first. Loved the colors, quality was good, and is very light. I definitely was excited for the extra accessories that came with: ice packs and bottle opener. But the one thing that took my very satisfied down to satisfied was when I put ice in the top half of the bag to keep my drinks cold. After setting it down and coming back after a few minutes the ice melted and leaked everywhere, I was not able to wear the back until it dried. But the bottom half of the bag worked beautifully, no leaks and kept my items cold.

I returned a higher-priced name-brand backpack cooler that I was NOT impressed with and decided to try this one, and I LOVE IT. I love that the bottom is big enough to hold six bottles of water and ice packs, and I can keep food items separate at the top. I have had no issue with leaking, but I have not filled it with ice either.
This backpack cooler is a gem! It’s a five-star product in my book. I’m so impressed that I’m considering buying it as a gift for my fellow mom friends.
