Instructions are:
Easy to use! Just attach hose and spray!
One bottle covers 6,000 square feet so I ordered two for my 10,000 sq ft lawn.
I wandered around wetting down the lawn and still have some left in bottle #1.
My takeaways-
1)Water your lawn lightly with it, don’t paint it.
2)Other have complained it killed flowers, etc on the the periphery.
Get in close on the edges, don’t spray flowers, decorative plants or pines with broadleaf killer
3) Make sure the hose connection is tight to avoid leakage that others have complained about
4) My dandelions are curling after a week, I presume that’s due to my first application of a too-light coat.
5) Instructions DO say to apply two days before rain, do not mow until then

Scott’s items are generally reliable. This one in particular is easy to apply and works as represented. I’ve had good success with it now for several years. It does a good job of greening up the lawn and ridding it of common weeds. It’s not effective on all weeds though and I have to go back with additional treatments to get full control. Recommend it but it doesn’t perform up to all its claims.

Killed everything it touched during treatment, rose bushes, peonies, ground cover, cypress tree. Followed direction, but did a lot of damage. Will never use again

I bought this to deal with clover taking over on one side of my tiny front lawn. Unfortunately my neighbor waters his grass twice a day and it gets my lawn too, so there is no way to control that. 1 week after first application and clover shows no signs of any treatment. I will try again but I may just resort to tedious pulling of the clover instead because if I wait till next time that I can apply it, I am afraid the clover will be even worse.
According to Scott’s response on their YouTube demonstration video;A fter applying Scotts Liquid Turf Builder with Plus 2 Weed Control, weeds will begin to curl within several days. Some hard to control weeds may take a repeat application in 3-4 weeks. Your lawn will green-up in 1-2 days.

Works great, but you’ll want to do a better job than I did when you apply it. It is extremely effective to a fault, if you don’t put it down evenly or put too much down you’ll get scorch marks. There were some times where I stopped or turned the drop spreader and it would put down a big clump of product – spread it out with your shoe or something, don’t let it sit and assume it’ll be fine like I did. It’ll straight up murder your grass in those areas.
It’s very clearly effective as a weed killer. In my photos you can see lines of surviving clover where I missed with the drop spreader. I applied this less than a week ago to a lawn that was nearly covered in weeds, now I can finally focus on fixing the bare spots from last year’s grubs.

For most of my yard, I used Roundup for Lawns to spot kill weeds, and this has worked fine. I have a neighbor who does not maintain their grass, and my yard was getting invaded by their weeds over a large area, mostly creeping charley, dandelions, and crabgrass. This Scott’s liquid weed control worked great to kill off those weeds without damaging the grass. Just follow the instructions to apply only when rain is not expected for the next 48 hours, as the weed killer works through foliar absorption.

It attached to my hose easily. Had an on/off switch to open and close water flow. The weeds were noticeably dying in 5-7 days. It’s hot summer and a newer lawn, so not sure if it’s fertilizing too well yet. Maybe by the fall it will green up more. I used this after 3 cuts of my new lawn. It hasn’t harmed any new grass and definitely is knocking off all weeds. This is much easier than buying a spreader and dumping granular weed and feed.

I wish I had a before and after picture, but I just started caring a little more about my lawn. It was full of weeds, I put this stuff down, and BOOM, no more weeds, Lawn is looking much better. Not perfect, but no burn like i’ve seen people complain about, or other issues. I felt kinda gross after spray it down so I took a shower right away cause it clearly does smell like weed killer, and it gets everywhere when you spray it down. But you can see the line where I stopped spraying and its night and day.
