I already own a Garmin 6 for the navigator bracket. That is a timeless solution that does not need an internet connection, robust and simple. However, when I am navigating within the city, I would prefer my phone to act as the navigator. This bracket allows for that. Just to make sure, my 2021 R1250GSA also supports a phone app to motorcycle screen type of navigation, but that is too confusing for me. Now I will either have the Garmin or my phone inserted into the bracket depending on the destination.

Ya tengo uno hace casi un año y funciona muy bien, mantiene el celular firme y siempre cargado.

Easy to install, it all fit fine. Phone must not have a case as it’s too far from the charger then. Took the case off, all good…

This GPS mount adapter has been great for my phone during street rides. It’s secure, easy to install, and holds the phone firmly in place, even on the highway or through tight turns. I had no issues on paved roads, and it was perfect for daily use.
However, when I took it off-road, specifically over some washboard terrain, the phone flew out of the mount and into the shocks! Fortunately, I managed to stop before it fell through completely. If you’re planning to ride on rough trails, I recommend either securing the phone differently or removing it altogether before you hit the dirt.
For street use, it’s excellent, but for off-road adventures, proceed with caution!

I have two BMW’s, both with the navigation mount, and this adapter is perfect for quick trips where I don’t need the Nav 5 GPS, but may want a quick Google Map or be able to see anyone texting me. The adapter fits the BMW nav mount perfectly and holds my iPhone 15 securely and charges it while riding.
The one negative that I noticed is that the tension arm (the red thing at the bottom of the adapter) that holds the phone in place will press and hold the button on the side of the phone. Also, the upper part of the mount doesn’t have any detents for buttons either, so the tension arm can actually cause buttons on the other side of the phone to be pressed and held as well. If you’re very careful putting the phone in the mount it seems to be ok and won’t press buttons, but I think I’m going to do something to air gap the areas for the buttons on both sides of the phone.

I bought one of these for my 2024 R1300GS, my iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max fit perfectly with the clear Apple case.
It worked great in town, I didn’t have any issues at all. Although, what I really purchased it for, it didn’t quite work out for me. And it doesn’t have anything to do with this cradle at all. While traveling through California and Arizona, my phone started to overheat quickly, leaving me without GPS Navigation.
As much as I wanted to use this cradle, I will be looking for another solution. If weather/heat isn’t an issue for you, I’d recommend getting it. It really does look cheap, especially when you’re putting it on a $30k bike but, it does its job.
