The last pump for no reason started to make a loud noise so I had to replace it. I suggest you use a 3/8” airline at least 10’ long before the splitter. It will reduce the noise level significantly. Otherwise a very good product.

These are unbelievable, compared to ordinary aquarium pumps you usually see, the pumps I was previously using were rated for 30-60 gallon tanks. These seem to move 10x the air. As some have mentioned, they’re fairly loud, but so are NASCAR cars compared to your family car. I probably wouldn’t want to use one in my living room or bedroom, but in the application I’m using it for, it’s not an issue. 10 stars for my purpose, the water looks like it’s boiling, and I only have 4 of the 6 outlets hooked up. High quality soft rubber hoses included, unlike the hard plastic usually supplied, very easy to get on and off fittings.

I bought this for a DWC 4 bucket hydroponic kit. I have had it a week so far and it’s been great! It puts out a good amount of air, the plants are loving it. It is kind of loud but earlier this year I tried the vivosun brand pump and that thing was insanely loud+hot and this pump is about half that volume of both heat and sound. I couldn’t use this one in a bedroom or any place commonly used though. I have it in the basement and never go down there so I never hear it. I have it zip-tied to a wire rack so it’s suspended in the air for less vibration.
I gave it 4 stars because the cable comes out of the bottom so you wouldn’t be able to just set it down to use it, the cable would get worn out in time I imagine. Also the hose it comes with gets really soft from the heat and easily folds pinching off the flow by the weight of the nozzles, I had to zip-tie that also.
Over all it’s a nice pump and good deal. I will follow up if anything happens. If I never follow up it’s because the pump was good enough for me.

I’m a retired mechanic so I know my way around any kind of machinery, that said I took apart the pump to check all fasteners and tolerances. All screws weren’t even snug at best, I used powdered graphite for all moving part contact points and reassembled. When first plugged in I was impressed with the air flow but the noise was incredibly loud and my hearing is already compromised from 40yrs around heavy machinery, it was terrible. Despite the noise I thought I’d try it, what a epic fail it was at that. Within 3 hours in a 72F room with a fan blowing on it the pumped locked up from over heating.
I sent the POS back and purchased a large “PONDFORSE” pump that runs like a true champion w/zero heat and minimal noise (just a couple more DB’s over a Fluval Q2 pump). Couldn’t be happier for it.

I am using this pump for a laser engraver air assist (to blow air over laser beam burn point to blow fume particles away from laser lens and material being engraved or cut). I was surprised how quiet it is for this purpose in a garage or shop. Late night operation is not heard in an adjacent room separated by simple drywalled wooden stud walls without insulation. (The hum might be objectionable in a quiet bedroom or livingroom.) The unit is well designed acoustically as I could not find a way to reduce the noise by grasping, squeezing, hanging, or placing it on foam or rubber pads. If the noise is objectionable, the only way to reduce it would be to isolate it (enclosing or relocation) It blows plenty of air but it has almost no air pressure. If your hose has a kink, or high airflow resistance, it will not deliver air. Placing my finger over the hose ends offers no resistance at all.
It is surprising considering the volume of air delivered with the hose end uncovered.

Yo compré esta bomba para mi máquina laser, no para pecera. Por lo que mi opinión es solo por si estás buscando algo como esto para máquina laser. Evidentemente mis cortes mejoraron. Sigo usando dos pasadas en cortar, pero es 100% seguro que a la segunda pasada mi laser corta excelente. Incluso cuando el laser está recién limpio, corta el mdf a la primera gracias a la bomba. En mi caso corto a 300mm/s a 80% de potencia, o a 287mm/s a 80% de potencia. Otra ventaja es que al usar aire el lente del laser no se ensucia tan rápido, por lo que aguanta muchos proyectos cortando antes de limpiar el lente nuevamente. Recomiendo que no se use el adaptador de varias salidas, ya que esto reduce considerablemente la presión del aire, y para el laser se nota mucho. Repito, esto es solo para los que usamos esta bomba para corte láser. Podría necesitar mas presión y tener un mejor desempeño en mis cortes, pero por lo pronto con esta bomba me va muy bien. Ojo, tienes que comprar la de 58W, para que te quede excelente.

I’m using this pump to provide the air for three five-gallon buckets of my hydroponic garden. Yes, the pump is loud so I use a Styrofoam lid to help absorb the noise. The lid is several inches away from the pump and doesn’t not cover the pump. The pump is powerful. I use three of the outlets and do not have any of the outlets completely open. IMO the pump would handle at least five five-gallon buckets. Mine runs 24 hours a day. It’s located in the basement so no noise is heard upstairs. With the muffling, I’ve learned to ignore the noise and just enjoy watching the tomatoes and pepper grow. My desk is about 10 feet away from the pump. I’m often on my phone and I’ve never had a comment about the background noise.

I got this to make bubbles in my toddlers bubble bath. I was tired of manually have to keep agitating the water to make more bubbles so I decided to try this. Works pretty good I have to say. My toddler now has bubbles the whole bathtime and I can still feel my arm at the end. It has a distinctive hum to it. Not super loud, but noticeable. Kind of the same noise level as a vacuum sealer. We only run it for 30 minutes or so and I haven’t noticed any heat build-up in that amount of time. The outer case is warm but not hot.
I was having a hard time figuring out what size pump I needed for this. This is sending air to two 8″ long rubber bubble tubes and use the1030 gph pump. This seems to work well for making bubbles in the bathtub. Could probably go down a size for the pump and still be fine.

I ordered the pump to use on my aquariums for ease of use. It seemed to be a very powerful and efficient pump, which I tested for only about 5 mins, when i received it just to make sure the power and air flow worked. When I was ready I did my set up and all the necessary connections to my tanks, however the pump only stays on for about 20 minutes, it gets hot and shuts down. My window to return the pump has closed because I did not use the pump within close proximity of receiving it. I’m a bit disappointed cause now I’m back to square one.

Just like other Australian reviewers, pump burned out after 5 minutes of use.
To the seller: PLEASE update your listing to reflect this is a 110V pump! I only discovered this AFTER it started spitting out smoke. I really wish I checked the markings before I plugged it in.
This pump to work in Aussie market also needs a 240V -> 110V transformer.
