It works! My dog is a Pyreneen Sheep Dog and is 6 years old. We have used an electric collar since he was 1 year old in the car and it ensures a stress free ride since he would think it his duty to bark at every crossroads and every person who walked past the car to tell them to get out of the way and to warn us! Earlier this year the battery gave up in the electric collar and we invested in a new one from Petsafe Big Dog Barking Collar costing ca €90 with postage. It was absolute rubbish and did not work. It advertised itself as Petsafe! I had to put a pair of ear mufflers on to help me suffer the stress of my dog barking in the car. I saw this one advertised for around same price with postage
and was a bit dubious – especially about some of the very negative remarks about dogs getting injured. However we have been absolutely pleasantly surprised and relieved that our 28 kilo dog has taken to the collar and there is hardly a squeak from him when we set off early for his morning’s walk by car.. He licks the collar when we begin to put it on. Absolutely no problem and our dog and us have stress free car journeys! What a relief and well worth the money.. I love it!

The collars definitely do the job and has dramatically reduced the barking from our 2 Brittany’s that are laser focused on squirrels. I wish they had an option for vibrate/tone on the collar. We did have them occasionally going off from other vibrations (might have been set too sensitive), they actually sent 2 brand new collars, but 1 would not turn on – so they are sending another replacement. Their Customer Service has been awesome. I chose SD as I use their E-Collars and have a lot of respect for the brand. Honestly did not trust some of the “off brands” with our dogs.

Do not buy. I bought it the day before, for my dog barking at other dogs while on walks. We were walking he wasn’t barking and out of no where the collar brought him to the ground he was screaming and crying. This collar is dangerousit will go off for no reason and the shock is too much there’s no reason for my dog to fall completely to the ground in pain… do not buy this

Our dog had developed a habit of barker throughout the night. He would wake us up multiple times a night. And we were at our wits end. We decided to purchase this collar. It was a little difficult to set up the shock level, and had to look up the YouTube video on how to set up. But once we set it up, it was easy to use. It stopped our dog’s barking at night and we can finally sleep! It’s built extremely well and is easy to adjust to our dog.

My German Shepherd has literally knocked a fence slat off after the neighbors dog was “talking shit”. She literally said, “come say that to my face!” They love each other when they don’t have a fence separating them. Lol anywho, I got this and level 5 was perfect. I will say, instant attitude adjuster. Battery is fine. Shock is a bit testy.. I’ve been zapped when checking placement.. don’t talk when doing this..lol it didn’t hurt but was like getting a static shock.

I have a border collie / Aussie/ husky mix and we have tried at least 9 different collars and we FINALLY found one that works for are VERY smart dog. Other collars have settings and cycles are dog would MEMORIZE and learn how to deactivate. Well guess what? This collar has two settings and one of them is like most collars where the shock setting will reset and the cycle will start over after the dog doesn’t bark for a while BUT the other setting will allow you to give your dog an instant shock after a bark. Our dog is now able to see squirrel and cats without barking obnoxiously. I only put the collar on him when I let him out to potty or if he is going to be in the backyard for more than and hour. He has been able to resist barking at squirrels when he’s not even wearing the collar. It’s amazing how fast we were able to train him.

A friend recommended this collar when I asked what she used. My poodle loves to sit out front on a long lead, which gives her lots of room to to enjoy our front yard. But she gets so excited when she sees her friends, and I didn’t like that many of her outdoor times ended with me having to bring her in due to barking. Also, I like my neighbours!
After I got this delivered I made sure to carefully review use and sizing. It took about 3 separate trips outside for her to figure it out, and I don’t think it ever got past level 2 of the 10 levels. Now she is quiet outside but still happily greets her friends with a waving tail.
I make sure she is always monitored so she doesn’t feel she needs to bark – I come right to door if she’s waiting there or if she winds her lead around anything.
Amazingly when she wants to go out and sees me pick up the collar she comes over and waits with her tail wagging as I put it on. So I feel reassured that it isn’t painful, and she’s just happy to be going outside.

It allows my dog to bark just not excessivly. Kicks in when he won’t stop. Collar picked up on my dogs barking style imeaditly. My dog adjusted to it quickly. We only use it when we go places or expecting people over he gets to excited and will bark non stop, not aggressive just overly happy high pitched excited barking. He is a high energy and vocal dog. It has NOT randomly shocked him. Works great.

The pump works great, the gauge doesn’t work for what I ordered them for. It was a smaller article than a basketball so maybe that’s why. –
Had tried other bark collars on my older shepherd, and he just ignored them. This one with the long prom bark two or three times and then settled in now the second he goes out with it on he doesn’t bark. I take it off in the morning great product.
