This is a nice size and easily fits in computer bags. Heats up in a short amount of time. the temperature never did reach 100C, but I did hear boiling sounds for about a minute.
I can make tea with it so that was really why I got this. Coffee makers and microwaves are few and far between in hotel rooms these days. Airport beverages are outrageously expensive.
Would have liked to see the water get hotter. I will try this with ramen and instant soup mixes, and lunch cups you add water to. It should work.

This kettle is both convenient and practical. I got it for use in my office. My office mate and I use it daily for tea and it’s been perfect. Easy to use and quickly heats water consistently. It’s small w light that it doesn’t take up space and add to office clutter while being large enough to suit our liquid needs!

This is actually my third electric kettle. This one works alright, it isn’t as fast as my normal ones, but I wouldn’t expect that from a portable kettle. However, there are some issues that are rather disappointing with this kettle.
First, the carrying bag is far, far too small. You are forced to carry the cord inside the kettle itself, since the carrying bag is so tight that it barely fits the kettle itself, and is pretty tight even then.
Second, this is a plug in kettle still, so it is only slightly portable, though I don’t know if a battery powered kettle of this type is even possible.
Lastly, it’s kinda small. It holds only 0.5L, but that isn’t really a major issue, just slightly annoying.

I bought this portable kettle for its convenience, but its poorly designed lid has turned it into a safety hazard. Whenever I pour hot water into a cup, it leaks from the sides, resulting in burns on my hand more than once. Even when carefully tilting the kettle, water still escapes around the lid instead of flowing cleanly through the spout.
The core issue lies in how the lid fails to seal properly. The moment you start pouring, hot water starts dripping unpredictably, making a basic task both frustrating and dangerous. While the kettle heats water quickly and is compact enough for travel, these benefits are overshadowed by this serious flaw.
The whole point of a portable kettle is ease and safety, and this product fails on both fronts. Until the lid is redesigned to prevent leaks, I wouldn’t recommend it. The risk of burns makes it more of a liability than a convenience.

This is a handy kettle to have, especially for road trips if you’re staying in hotels that don’t have the needed accoutrements to make tea, coffee (and, in my case, instant oatmeal.) Be advised there is a label on a flip up top on the lid that says “Caution: Leave Open.” In reading the instructions, it suggests that in certain altitudes pressure could build up and cause it to explode if one does not. Yipes. While I am not at the altitude indicated, i figured it’s best just to keep it open in general. As such, though, it seemed to take an extra long time to boil. Also, while all things considered, it is portable and light. If you’re traveling by plane it’s still a bit heavy in a suitcase, so be warned. And I don’t know it if works with an adapter overseas, but as a general rule, I believe appliances that heat up are best not used in that fashion. It would be nice if these were rechargeable via one’s laptop instead of an electric outlet. But overall, this is a good choice if it meets your travel needs. Its compact size is perfect for sufficient hot water while not taking up too much space, and it gets the job done, albeit a bit slower than our non-portable one at home.

Excelente calidad de materiales y funcionamiento: interior de acero, ancho revestimiento aislante, cable de corriente grueso, aislantes en la toma de red. Pesa bastante para su tamaño.
Hemos cronometrado que tarda nueve minutos en hervir medio litro de agua, y a partir del quinto minuto se escucha el burbujeo que indica que ya tiene una temperatura muy elevada.
Se apaga automáticamente cuando el agua llega al punto de ebullición, lo que dependerá de varios factores. En nuestro caso el agua es dura, con mucha cal, y estamos a nivel del mar. Con aguas más blandas y a mayor altitud tardará menos.
La única precaución es mantener siempre abierta la espita superior para que internamente pueda regular la presión y expulsar el gas sobrante. Y no soprebasar la línea que marca la zona límite. Si estamos a más de mil metros de altitud conviene tomar medidas adicionales, como cortar la corriente antes de que se apague automáticamente, entre otras (se detallan en las instrucciones).
No se puede lavar por completo: por fuera sólo usar un trapo húmedo, y por dentro sólo con agua y un paño.
Se recomienda usar únicamente para hervir agua, o como recipiente aislante para mantener bebidas, tanto calientes como frías. El interior es de acero y es lavable, pero como no es posible sumerjirlo por completo, ni lavarlo en lavavajillas, hay que tenerlo en consideración cuando se usan otros líquidos, como té, zumos o café, porque tal vez su limpieza podría complicarse.
Ideal para llevar en la furgoneta, porque con sólo 300 watios prácticamente cualquier inversor nos proporcionará esa potencia. Y el consumo real para hervir medio litro de agua es de sólo cincuenta watios. Medio litro de agua hirviendo pueden servir de base para preparar muchas comidas.
Se vende en dos variantes: para 220 voltios o para 110, dependiendo de la zona geográfica donde residas.
