I’ve gone through several heating pads. They just suddenly stop working. This one is great! 4 temps and auto shut-off are perfect. I love that it’s extra long!

Okay, let me start by saying that I normally would always buy Sunbeam products because of their quality and durability. I recently had a heating pad exactly like this one, it got really hot and lived a good life. One day it died, the control box got really hot and the next day it didn’t work at all. So, I started down the path of ordering another one exactly the same, I thought, and it came and it would not get hot like the old one did. I ended up going through this process four times!! Each time I got the new hot pad and turned it on, it got warm but not hot at all like the one that I used to have. If it doesn’t get hot enough, for me, it’s just worthless. I don’t know what’s going on with this manufacturer these days, but I can tell you after going through the hassle of having bought this product four times and not having it work properly, I feel it’s safe to assume that the company is no longer manufacturing products to the standards that they used to. After this I did a whole bunch of research trying to figure out where I could get a hot pad that actually gets quite hot to my satisfaction, what I found was a company called Pure enrichment. I bought their heating pad, 12×24 in, with a 5-year warranty and excellent reviews. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have this new hot pad, that actually works as it should and gets hot! Yay, no more trips back to the UPS store to return crappy Sunbeam heating pads that don’t work, and I now have the added bonus of having a hot pad that actually does what it says it will. My back is very happy!!!

It is the perfect size for heat on the whole back. The cord is long enough for me to plug in my wall and come across to my side of the couch and has slack for the control. The heating pad is an essential part of my recovery.

I went through many different heating pads, bought and returned on Amazon. This one actually gets hot. So hot that I can’t use it on high. Actually worth the money. Don’t buy a cheap one. Buy a good one!

I was beside myself when my old heating pad died. I have back issues and use it often, especially when trying to fall asleep. I’ve got a couple heating pads but the newer ones just don’t get as hot as the older models and I need that high heat. Sunbeam is a brand that’s been around my entire life, so thought I’d give them another shot and I am so glad I did! This heating pad gets as hot as my old heating pad and works like a dream. The size is great too, no need to move it to another spot halfway through as it covers such a large area. I don’t love the two different types of material on the different sides of the pad, but that’s so minor compared to the fact that gets and stays hot. Thank you Sunbeam!!

Nice size. Only downside is it gets really hot when first turned on warm, then it settles down. It does shut off after about 90 minutes to 2 hours. It is soft and will curve over your back if you’re a side sleeper. That is nice.

I used to like really long heating pads. I’ve been wanting a smaller one recently (it will pack better), but they’re scarce – unless you’re happy with the idea of a generic electrical device with no safety rating other than “conforms to safety regulations.”
If this is your first heating pad ever, you’ll notice a choice two choices in covers, removable and permanent. While removable sounds like a smart sanitary choice, the one snap closure allows the cover to shift on the pad AND the stiff plastic insert will reach out and poke you. This pad, with the permanent cover is softer, more comfortable, and washable too.

This one is great! Its larger size covers your shoulders and upper back very nicely. Heating is sufficient.

I always buy sunbeam. I have 3 other king size but this one is so big it fits my entire back and still covers my lower section as well. I can’t go without it! Heat settings are great and I sleep with it ion the warm setting on a cold night. Great for my back pain.
