Best orchestration book for harp
Musician Too –
Pretty much anything you’ll need to know about writing for harp (mostly pedal harp, though lever harp is touched on briefly). Do’s and don’ts, orchestral examples, all from a professional harpist’s point of view.
Amazon Customer –
This is the go-to book for composers and arrangers who want to understand writing for harp. Glad it’s still in print and available.
Deaux –
This work in fact may be most important textbook in any advanced composers library. Vital, compelling, super thorough. An excellent resource and a must have. Wish I had this book 20 years ago! Buy it!

This book is more useful for writing for harp than the Adler Orchestration book is (Adler is a good book but sooo many inaccuracies). I strongly suggest getting this book if you are even thinking about writing for harp.
