Mike Roberts –
They look nice and are still on my panigale after 2K miles.

Edges of side tank pads did not stay stuck over night. Never even rode the bike with them on. Removed and re-prepped entire area and stuck even less. Threw the whole set away the next day. Texture seemed great and would likely have grabbed leg area well but I didn’t want to leave an unsightly peeling pad on my brand new Ducati!

Perfect fit, love it

I would of gave this product 5 stars, but it was a pain to get these to stick properly. Just make sure you have a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a hair dryer before applying these tank grips.

These provide great grip and really help grab the bike with a riders legs. They can be tough to apply. Take extra time and it will be fine.
Clean the bike thoroughly!!! Don’t use a wax or chemicals which leaves residue.
I parked bike outside on a 70+ degree day and also left each grip pad on the floor in the sun. For one everything will get warm and most importantly it makes the rubber easier to form. Let it sit for about an hour.
The side tank portions are the toughest. Start at front and start pressing down toward back of bike. Once they were applied I taped with blue tape and left in sun for a bit then pulled in garage and let it sit over night.
This should help some folks out when applying.

After reading all of the bad reviews I decided to go all out with a bottle of isopropyl alcohol (instead of just using the one included wipe) and a heat gun to get everything clean and good and hot. So far so good after a couple of days and a couple rides. I previously had the TechSpec x-line (fabric type) grips which held up to about a year of track use before starting to tear and look like crap. The fabric type were easier to install, but these look like they will hold up much better – I think the reason so many people had problems with install is that they are a thick, good quality rubber that is hard to bend/contour. Get it good and hot with a hair dryer or heat gun and continue to apply heat to them after they are installed (I heated them to the point they were burning hot to the touch) and then I left the bike out in the sun afterwards to cool down slowly.
Will update later if they start to peel off.

Love these grips. Always used the same ones on all my bikes. Fits nicely on the Panigale V2

I haven’t been able to get it to stick properly. I read the instructions and applied it in the correct temperature range, but the Panigale has some ridges along the tank that make it hard to get the grips on properly. I let Tech-Spec know and they immediately sent replacements. I’m waiting for them now, and will give 5 stars if I can get them to stick.
