Got my new Betta tank, and i love it. For the price you cant ask for more. It is very modern looking. I love the built in LEDs- even though they are at the bottom on every corner (4 LEDs) they still shine enough to give it a nice glow. But you have to use glass or see-through marbles so the light can reflect. I love the option to use a micro USB charger to power them up and not have to stick solely to batteries. I love the power button option so i can power the lights on or off when i want. since the base is square unlike the top you can rotate it so it can sit longways or sideways but the base stays the same. My Betta seems happy and loves the room. remember to cycle your water first. if not your water will get cloudy.I have this tank in my office and its the perfect size. i would recommend. Lets hope the LEDs last a long time. NOTE: it will be hard to add a filter or heater to this tank since the lid completely covers the top of the tank. so the cords will not let the top sit right. you can try and shave a small opening but may risk damaging the cover. so regular water changes will be a must. Also love the opening in the center of the lid to feed my Betta.

The first one came with cracks in the corners. I returned it without any problems and received my new one without any defects. It’s been a month and is doing great. The lights are fun and there is a plug to use your own cord so that the lights don’t run on battery. My ten year old has had no issues cleaning the tank and maintaining it. For the price is has been the best purchase I’ve made on a amazon lately!

Clear plastic tank that lifts up from the black base pedestal. My blue betta jumped out from his old open tank (and we couldn’t find him!) so the nice lid on this model helped prevent future fishy incidents. (He lived, it was a happy story.) Love the tank shape and have put marbles in the bottom with a little cubic miniature statue. Would recommend.

It’s a classy-looking tank, I’ll give it that, but when it comes to lighting I don’t feel the 4 LEDs at the base are sufficient to show off the beta. I just purchased a beautiful blue Betta with a flashy green sheen and was super content with the tank, but when I switched my desk lamp off, the Betta turned to more of a muted indigo color.
Also another bummer with this setup is that the owner is forced to use glass pebbles rather than gravel or other opaque substrates. And while the glass pebbles do come in a variety of colors, including clear, the setup is limiting in this regard.
In short, if you do decide to purchase this tank, my advice to you is this: Make sure you have a space that is well-lit or you won’t get to admire as much the creatures you put in it. 🙂

Tenía mis dudas pero cuando llego me pareció un buen producto,(dejo una nota de la paqueteria al final), eso si, algo delicado y por lo tanto tendré que ser muy cuidadoso en su mantenimiento.
Yo le hice un pequeño hoyo en una esquina de la tapa para pasar la manguera de oxígeno (con mucho cuidado y sin ejercer presión para evitar cuartear el acrílico) y quedo perfecta, el tamaño me parece muy bueno, no es tan minúscula como algunas otras, (obvio es una bettera y es pequeña). Me parece que se ve muy elegante, yo use piedra cristal para no opacar tanto los leds y planta natural, se ve espectacular.

I have two Betta fish and wanted a decent size tank for both. I received both tanks at the same time, but one of them was cracked. :/ I love the look of the tank, but I found myself being extra careful when putting in the pebbles due to being afraid I would crack the tank. It’s made of plastic so yes you do have to be careful. I have no use for the lights although it’s a nice touch.

This is beautifully designed and goes a lot better with (my) decor then other aquariums. My daughter loves that it lights up. I only gave it a lower rating on value for money because the lid on mine was broken upon delivery. I was still able to use it without so I kept it because I like the rest of it so much! I did purchase another aquarium though to switch off just because of the lacking lid, so this one is now my backup when I need to clean my other one. The other one I purchased was cheaper and in better condition upon delivery.

This fantastic little aquarium is home to a nerite snail. S/he has been chugging along and exploring in there for approximately a year and a half. I covered the feeding hole with a sheet of mesh plastic canvas that allows the air to pass through while preventing the snail from escaping. (S/he has never tried to escape, but I heard they can so it is just a precaution.) Nice little tank. May be too small for other aquatic pets, but it is a perfect size for a nerite snail.

Good fish tank. Easy to care. But I don’t think that this tank is big enough for Betta. You can use it to keep inside a small fish. Or use it for a pregnant fish or fish in quarantine. I bought it for my pregnant guppy. Also this tank doesn’t look to 1 gallon. 0.8 gallon at most. Lighting system not effective at all. Acrylic material easy to scratch.

This is a pretty great little tank. Sure, it could be bigger and some will argue you need at least 5 gallons to “satisfy” your betta. My fish appears to love it so far (although I did get a 5 gallon that is arriving soon). I love the lighting ability using a USB cable, but mine did arrive with some cracks at the top (they don’t affect water loss, and I guess I should expect it from a plastic tank, but I thought I should mention it). I added some aquarium marbles, a plastic plant and an Indian almond leaf and so far so good.

Mi betta andaba malito (yo creo que porque me lo dieron en una fiesta) y se recuperó, así que de la alegría le compré esta pecera. La verdad que se ve preciosa en la noche, mi pez está muy animado y está espaciosa. Le puse bastantes plantitas para que mi mascota se divirtiera y descansara, a él le encantó y lo veo por toda la pecera.
Es de plástico pero creo que tiene buena durabilidad. Las luces alumbran bien por lo que, con una buena decoración, de ornato es excelente. Ideal como para recámara de niños y luz de noche, totalmente bella!

Cute little tank. Not bad for a small betta. I think they are ok in this but would enjoy a bigger tank when mature. If you put a small plant in center and a resting leaf (that’s all you will have room for and still have a place for your fish to swim) they travel around and seem to enjoy it, maybe add a small moss ball. Only thing i don’t like is the big opening in top of lid. Bettas jump and one could jump from this. I would like to see plastic grids across it. I will have to figure something out. You can REALLY see your fish friend well in this tank.
