The wallet is very well build but the dollars bill clip is not as efficient as portail in the advertising.

    Initial Impressions:

The product is as described, and I have no doubt it will function well and as advertised.

I find it difficult to reconcile the price: in my case, almost CAD$100 for a couple of pieces of small anodized aircraft-quality aluminum, a few Torx fasteners and some stretchable fabric? Yikes! That said, I knew the price going in and have no one to blame but myself. I’m also skeptical that the pieces of stretchable fabric holding this thing together will be durable over the long-term. I hope I’m wrong on that.

Lastly, they do include a Torx driver and additional fasteners, but then, given the price, it would have been a massive fail if they had not.

Update: Ultimately, in everyday use this is just too heavy for me to have in a suit pocket, even for a smallish item. It’s going to be relegated to a drawer with all of the other discarded items. If it was titanium or carbon fiber it might save a small amount of weight, but the price trade-off for something already on the expensive side likely isn’t worth it.

I recently purchased The Ridge Minimalist Slim Wallet for Men, and I must say that it has been a game-changer for me. This wallet offers the perfect blend of functionality, durability, and sleek design that I have been searching for.

The RFID blocking capability of this wallet is another commendable feature. With the increasing prevalence of contactless card fraud, having RFID protection is essential. The Ridge Minimalist Slim Wallet provides peace of mind by effectively blocking any unauthorized attempts to scan or steal my credit card information.

Durability is definitely a strong suit of this wallet. It is constructed with high-quality materials, including aluminum and stainless steel, which make it incredibly robust and resistant to wear and tear. I appreciate that the wallet is designed to withstand the rigors of daily use and maintain its sleek appearance over time.

The elastic band that holds the cards securely may stretch over time. Although it is replaceable, this may require some additional cost and effort. However, I have found that with proper care and not overloading the wallet, the band retains its elasticity for a significant period.

Overall, I highly recommend The Ridge Minimalist Slim Wallet for Men – RFID Blocking Front Pocket Credit Card Holder. It offers a sleek and stylish design, exceptional durability, RFID protection, and convenient access to cards. This wallet has greatly simplified my everyday carry and has become an essential accessory that I can confidently rely on.

    Pros:

    Sleek and Minimalist Design.

    RFID Blocking Technology

    Durability and Quality.

    Cons:

    Higher Price Point

    Limited Storage Capacity

la carteará esta muy padre pero tiene dos detalles:
    1. es difícil sacar tus tarjetas, tendrás que sacarlas todas por que es difícil sacar solo una
    2. la banda elástica es frágil y la misma cartera le hace agujeros

    Pros:
I really like the aesthetics of this wallet. I think it looks very nice.
The Ridge wallet seems to be very well made. It feels like quality. We will see how long the strap lasts, but after a couple of months of use it has held up with no issues.
It is exactly what I wanted from a minimalist standpoint. I can put it in my front pocket without it obviously “printing”. Reviews complain about not being able to hold very many cards, and this is true. But I bought it as a small travel wallet, so it does exactly what it is advertised as. I have seven cards in mine, and that seems fine.
I rarely use cash, but I like to have some on-hand just in case, and the strap does allow for a few bills to be included.
The RFID blocking is a nice benefit.

    Cons:
It is quite expensive for what it is. For this price point I expected this wallet to be made in America, but the box indicates that it is made in China.
Like other reviewers have mentioned, it can be tricky getting to any of the cards that are not on the outside of the stack. Put your most-used cards on either end, and it isn’t too bad getting to these ones. Cards in the middle require pushing the whole stack out and fanning through.

I struggled going between three or four stars for this wallet. My original purchase intent was to use it primarily for travel, but I have found that I have not gone back to my leather wallet. The Ridge wallet is what it is advertised as (a minimalist, RFID-blocking wallet), so as long as you are good with that and with the price point, then it is easily a four start product. If you expect it to be as convenient to access everything as a traditional wallet, then you may be disappointed.
If it gets lost, I may try a cheaper option to see if I notice the quality difference. But so far, for how I want to use it, I would recommend this wallet.

So I finally decided to try out the Real Thing with the sale price it made it a bit more bearable for more than I ever paid for a wallet in my life. I’ve tried various different off brands here on amazon that look similar and by my thoughts should have been the same thing. However, they all have had their annoyances, and things like the straps breaking, or difficulty putting in your cards, or other things breaking and scuffing, not fitting etc. This wallet just works, everything fits well in it and it feels great. I already learned the lesson from other wallets about slimming down your life, that’s a big thing on this type of wallet. It’s designed to also help you minimize all the crap you carry to the necessary crap. Can this wallet hold 14 cards? Yup probably, will it be a nice experience? Nope. The key to these styles of wallet is to help you get rid of clutter, I keep an old wallet now at the house, with all my CC’s I don’t need on me, My Social Security card, My Pet Insurance card and a bunch of ‘loyalty cards’ that I never needed cause they just look me up by phone # anyway. In my actual wallet now is the cards I actually need, easily fanned out and used, My debit card, my license, my work card and my insurance card (Only because I’ll forget my insurance card when I actually need it.) Maybe one day I’ll even drop it down cause I’ll start remembering my insurance card and everywhere on the planet I’ll just be able to use my phone instead of my debit card, but until then that’s my wallet unless I’m using another card for a specific purpose and it gets added in for that day. After more than a month now I wish I wouldn’t have spent so much trying to go cheap and just have picked this up first.
