Rodrigo Zaragoza –
I wanted a small, thin watch (for tight places) with:
count down timer, 100m WR, and a good light.
I looked at so many casios because of the price and durability, but the timer function and light are hit and miss with that brand. Also, this timex is a lot (lot lot) thinner than that other brand.

I’ve now owned this watch over 4 years and used almost daily. I’ve still never had to change the battery. I chose this because I wanted a digital watch that IS NOT bulky and fat like those G-shocks. This fit the bill and I like the look of it.
My main number one gripe of this watch is that the damn buttons are so hard to press. Sometimes I’ll even use a coin to prevent the button from stabbing my finger. I only ever really need to press the glow button and very rarely the mode button to set the time.
The watchface has developed some scratches but I can still read the screen fine. I’ll flip it to wrist down if I’m in a high risk area. Its been in rough environments too, from construction work to hiking to gym and just daily travel. Overall I’d say if you want a long lasting watch this is great for the price.

I’d only had the watch for about 1.5 months before the time started to automatically reset without any apparent reason. I would set it to the correct time, then before the day was done, I would look down and see that the watch time was drastically incorrect. I’ve seen at least one other review on Amazon describing this same problem with the Atlantis.
Other than that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the buttons are a bit hard to press but that isn’t a dealbreaker in my opinion (you get used to it). If you like the way the watch looks, and want a simple, smaller, lightweight digital watch, the Atlantis is adequate, especially at this price point – assuming it’s not defective like mine.

Really awesome design, super retro. Excellent quality build and presentation

I don’t like the plastic bands on these types of watches. However, I am disappointed in the watch itself. The buttons are very hard to push and the indiglo doesn’t work as well as the previous indiglo watches I’ve had. I have to use something metal to push the “set” button in, because holding my finger on it for five or more seconds is very difficult. Not just because it hurts my finger, but it pushes into the skin and then isn’t pushed in far enough to connect and stops the counting, and I have to start over again. So, also, indiglo feature isn’t easy to use because you have to use all this extra effort to push the button for it to come on. Have had a Timex Aquarius for many many years. First one lasted me well over 10 years. It had a metal band with rubber links. After several years, the rubber would get old and they would end up breaking. It was hard to find a replacement band so when I was able to find one what I bought an extra and then my second Aquarius went out and I still had to band. I bought this one only because I figured it was about the same watch except for the cheap plastic band. I was able to put the good band on it.

As others have said buttons very hard to operate. I’m not sure if it’s by design or if they released an abnormally tough run, but they do require intent and strength to push. On the bright side, you’ll never (and I repeat NEVER) accidentally press the button and activate something. You have to try hard to push them intentionally, I don’t think it’s even possible to accidentally press one. The look and feel of the watch are great though and I think the band is actually better quality than most Casio bands. Overall the price increase over similar casios gets you – better light, nice slim profile, and a better band, as well as buttons that won’t accidentally push (because they’re so tough to lol)

This is the perfect watch for me. No negative issues at all. It’s light, comfortable, easy to read, accurate, and tells me exactly what I want to know, even in the dark. I like that the seconds can be reset to zero with the push of a button. That makes it easy to set the time to the second. Battery replacement is simple. No pressing the back on with a watch press. I will agree the buttons are a bit stiff, but then I can’t accidentally press ’em by flexing my wrist.

Excelente para nada grande, discreto, ligero y muy cómodo en la muñeca, la banda es muy ligera y suave, se puede usar incluso mientras duermes. Buen diseño y combinación de color. Funciones básicas pero completas. Perfecto.

Great watch but as I get older I need something a little bigger and easier to read. So I returned it and ordered the bigger one!
Will Boulden –
Nice lightweight watch. Easy to read .
Rodrigo Zaragoza –
Watch colour is much lighter than the photo. Watch works fine but would not have bought it I knew it was this colour
Stuart –
Nice everyday wear watch. Lightweight, thin, somewhat stylish. Pretty small for smallish wrists. Looks to be of pretty good quality. Good value for the money.
