Im so happy with this. It’s fun to play right out of the box. Easy to tune. The instruction book is basically useless but there are lots of youtube videos to watch. I had to tune it a few times before it held it’s tune and now it’s good. Just stick with it.

I’ve been wanting to learn a stringed instrument for decades, but I always had difficulty figuring them out or found the play style uncomfortable for my wrists and hands. Then I saw this lyre harp. With its clearly-labeled notes, lack of frets, and simple design, I had a hunch this would be the right instrument for me and my hunch was right. After only a few short hours of ownership, I was able to tune and pluck a trio of simple melodies.

It’s a visually interesting and a pretty-looking instrument. I’m no professional but the sound quality seems decent enough. The plus side is this is also a really good instrument for playing softly, so don’t worry about annoying your neighbors when you practice.

Some reviews mention that their instrument won’t stay in tune, and I also had this problem in the very beginning, but the more you play and fiddle with it, the longer the strings will hold their notes. So JUST KEEP TUNING! Seriously. Just give it a quick tune every day and within a week you’ll (likely) be all set. Bonus: there are a few different lyrists/harpists on YouTube with how-to-play tutorials available, so you can start learning as soon as you unbox and tune it.

Beautiful materials and workmanship. Good price for a begging lyre. The sound quality is pretty good for most of the lyre but G3 (the lowest string) is buzzy and muted. Also the tuning is difficult.

Very easy to learn and play. Very easy to tune. Very good looking instrument. Great as a starter instrument.

I’ve never learned to play an instrument but wanted to so I got this one. I really love the sound of it. This one turned out to be very well made from what I can tell, and it sounds very good. It needed to be tuned a lot the first few days and the pins would turn a bit in their own. After about a week that stopped and now it only needs to be tuned after every few hours of use.

I like this Lyre Harp. It is a challenge to keep it tuned due to the wood bar at the bottom. It would stay in tune better if it was metal. I’m definitely a beginner. It’s fun to play.
