Wir haben das Terrarium für unsere Kinder und deren 4 gefleckte Weinbergschnecken (Cornu aspersum) gekauft.
Der große Vorteil von diesem Terrarium gegenüber einem Aquarium ist, dass man von vorne über 2 Türen in das Terrarium greifen kann. Für die Kinder ist dies viel einfacher.
Ansonsten gibt es nichts negatives zu schreiben. Die Belüftung funktioniert sehr gut, es ist einfach zu reinigen. Kurz gesagt, den Kindern und Schnecken taugt es.

This is a great terrarium – actually seems larger than I expected it to be. My leopard gecko is a happy camper. It makes it so much easier to feed her and clean out her living quarters. The cords can run nicely behind the foam backing so they are hidden from view. Although she does prefer to do her business right near the crevice, which makes it a bit difficult to clean out.
With an under-tank heater on one side I was easily able to make her a warm vs cooler side. She does seem to favor laying on the warmer side. We used tile for the flooring which heats up nicely looks great in this terrarium.
The screened top makes it easy for ventilation. We bought a UV light for the top to help ensure she gets enough Vitamin D. It doesn’t quite span the entire top but fits nicely and works well for her.

Even after seeing all the reviews about broken glass, I ordered this last week for my, soon-to-be Leopard Gecko, and received it yesterday, but the back side of the glass was broken. Looking at the package, it was hit during delivery.
(Added pictures from the first order of how protected the terrarium was when it was shipped.)
Sent a support email and they responded back by the next day. Went out today to a petsmart store and bought the last one they had (that way I don’t have to worry about FedEx breaking the glass during delivery. So this product review is based on the one I got from petsmart. Customer support by ValuePetSupplies is a 5/5 though.
The Measurements are 24.25″ (Wide) x 12.50″ (Height) x 18.25″ (front to back) Inches WITH the frame.
In case anyone was wanting to go for Tile/Slate for your substrate, the INTERIOR of the terrarium measures roughly 23″ (Wide) x 17″(Deep). So you might want to get your tile’s cut a little smaller than that so you have space to fit a finger to take out the tiles to clean every so often. I took out the foam background because it took up a decent amount of space (almost 2 inches).
It’s got lifted corners. Good for some airflow so your Under Tank Heat-mat (UTH) doesn’t overheat.
The Mesh top has small holes in both back corners big enough for temperature probe wires to go into without the top mesh lid being open. There are also 4 knobs to lock the top mesh in case you have snakes.
Front (2 door) door opening is great for easy access. (You have to twist the “EXO-TERRA” logo knob to open the front doors.) I didn’t know it was a locking door built in. So that’s a plus.

Perfect terrarium for my young ball python. I don’t give out many 5 star ratings, but I can’t imagine anything else I could want from a terrarium.
I love the front doors with a built in lock. I love the steel mesh screen top with built in latches and holes in the back for probe cables and humidifier tubing. The raised bottom is great for undertank heater pads; I always have a problem with sticky feet coming off of my other terrariums. It’s well ventilated, but it also holds temperatures and humidity pretty well.
I also really like the foam background with grooves for cables and tubing. It’s a lot nicer than the “aquarium wallpaper” stuff though it uses up a little bit of your space. I’m sure my snake likes it as it helps to keep him from feeling exposed, but it is removeable if you don’t need it. That being said, it is a little difficult to take it out and put it back without breaking it as it is made of foam, but all in all, the right fit is a good thing.
I was a little worried as I had read some other reviews in which the customer received it cracked or broken. This is always a concern when ordering anything large and made of glass, though this is usually an issue with the shipping and handling more than a product itself. I didn’t have this issue, though. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition.
I would highly recommend this terrarium.

I got my exo terra in January 2024 for at the time my future corn snake ( pic 2 March-April 2024). When she arrived and few days after that she disappeared from the terrarium but then I found her behind the background. At first I was annoyed by that but I let it go as I came to the conclusion that she felt secure and she could come out.
Now is October 2024 and my girl is a little over 2 feet long and she enjoys the variety that is offered to her with the lenght of her home. She has enough substrate to dig, she has a natural cave made from driftwood and stone that she can bask on if she wants and on the hot corner she has 2 hides( The exo terra Aztec warrior and the small Aztec cave.)
At night she enjoys climbing on the background and it is awesome to see how comfy and content she is as my goal was to recreate as much as possible something of a natural habitat look for her.
The package itself arrived very well isolated and each corner of the exo terra had styroform on it as well under it and on top of it in order to protect it as much as possible in the shipping.
So I am happy with it but most importantly Syrax is happy inside as most of the days I don’t even see her and from what I have read about snakes a happy and calm snake is mostly invisible

This tank is nice! It comes with the foam rock background and it has two opening front doors with a latch that makes it easy to get to your pet. The top also comes off and has 4 lathes to secure it.
There is like half inch space under the tank so you can easily slide heating pads underneath.
Also there are sliding wire slots on the top of the rear of the lid so you can open the slot wide enough for your cables without being open so crickets can escape.
