I’ve just used this on my 2.2ltr Vauxhall Astra, which had a check emissions light on, after multiple recent jump starts and a new immobiliser fitment. I can’t believe how easy this tool was to use. Plug it into the port, ran a battery check test, then switched the ignition to start up checks and then started the engine. No issues causing the light and no error codes; I reset the light using this tool. Job done. I then just checked all the other live vehicle data, just out of interest; all running great. This tool has saved me a fortune in time and money already.

If you don’t know anything about cars, well, don’t buy one of these! All these do is scan your car’s computer for fault codes. If there is one it will display the number and a short description. But you have to know what the code means. Which requires a fairly extensive mechanical knowledge.
If you know what these are, this one is fairly simple, but adequate. Has all the basic functions with a small monochrome display. Gets the job done at a very low price.
